It depends on how minimal your installation is and what bootloader you are using. I've had GRUB fuck up a few times, nothing that chrooting and regenerating the configuration file wouldn't fix though.

Arch is one of the least professional distros. Most packages simply aren't tested before they are released. Here's just one example:

The pajeets at Microsoft push Debian to make people think Linux is shit. When a newbie hears how great Debian is, but finds out it doesn't work on their newer hardware, they come to the conclusion that Linux sucks.
