How Important is RAM speed?

that seems like the usual laptop ram, if so, it's irrelevant, most processors will force them to run at 2400 due limitations

There are plenty of gaymen benchmarks that show just how much difference there actually is between those cheap rams and rams with higher frequency. But keep sperging I guess.
P.S. You're willingly posting rams with shit timings. Still the links that you yourself linked are far more feasible than the ram prices just a year back, just like other proper rams.

Yep I'm seeing massive improvements with properly set up RAM with Good ICs (aka Micron non ECC Edie, Samsung Bdie and Hynix CJR)

>You're willingly posting rams with shit timings
CJR can tighten better than whatever trash you posted, (provided you don't get the mystery meat random samsung Bdie kits which will do 3733-4000 CL12), and by default 3600 CL19 is still better than 3000 CL16.

Keep coping with your shit RAM because you can't affor 10 bucks more for CJR.

Is your link supposed to prove how "massively" better samsung b-die is over hynix? Cause it really doesn't do that. If someone is gonna buy cheap ram due to his budget, chances are, he's not gonna feel a "massive" difference with the rest of his hardware, especially his monitor, with that margin of difference in performance. That being said, there are plenty of good 16gb kits out there for sub 70/80 bucks.

Moron I Csnt wait for next gen ddr5+ hbm3 and ssds to leave your dumb ass in the dust fag

Can't wait to hear incelturds keep saying ddr3 1600 is all anyone will ever need even after ddr5 comes out.

anything from 3000mhz up is alright.

>Is your link supposed to prove how "massively" better samsung b-die is over hynix?
Only thing I'm seeing is there's a 10% difference average between badly configured CJR and well configured CJR and an additional 10% increase for well configured Bdie, difference is Bdie is twice to thrice the price if you want to buy it with any level of certainty.
So really you're getting something with a much better price performance ratio.

We're on Jow Forums if something is slightly pricier with a potential 10% increase in CPU performance you should be seeing the value in it or you have little business being on here.
And if you're on a tight budget chances are you're getting an APU (maybe a ryzen 1st gen which will also benefit from good ICs) so really fast RAM for very cheap is an absolute must.

>That being said, there are plenty of good 16gb kits out there for sub 70/80 bucks.
Nope, unless you get very lucky you're getting bad ICs that can't clock high or have tight timings.
The absolute cheapest you can find RAM that has a high chance of not being garbage is trying to find one of the newer Micron Edie kits ( Ballistix Sport LT 3000 CL15 or 3200CL16 should be that ) and that's right around 80 bucks too but a bit cheaper in yurop.

How can you spot which ram is what? Any good resources for learning about buying ram?
