>he must have both an academic and professional background
well i would assume most people with professional backgrounds also have academic ones
>you keep forgetting that whenever i've linked his content you agree with his picks for songs he likes
very possible, i forget most things
Kpop general #1390
you mean most people who work in the music industry? i suppose, i was thinking of college when i said "academic", but i guess even if you're studying how to read sheet music and how to play instruments in high school, it's still considered "academic experience".
i meant he probably has some fancy degree from some university in kangaroo land
yeah i meant the same
popular artists are a big exception, but i imagine most producers, composers, audio engineers, performers, etc. have at LEAST an associate's degree if not a bachelor's or masters in some field of music.
maybe i'm wrong, but that's certainly the impression i get from general heresay and my friend who works in stage production
fake girls
well, if you know somebody who's actually involved i guess that settles it. hard to believe some of the wild looking freakos who are music producers actually have an academic background lol
i wonder how much of the stuff that gets taught in music school actually is applicable in real life music work. i'm just thinking of all the bloated and pointless curriculums here that are full of subject matter that will never ever be useful if they become professionals
>if they become professionals
they meaning the students
>There were two things people didn’t like about “Favourite”, the line distribution and the fact that the video just had the girls dancing and nothing else.
>This tells me that k-pop fans are dumb across the board.
Based
i mean it's worth noting that he's still in college himself, just does some stuff with actual professionals here and there so maybe he has a skewed perspective
i think you're overestimating how difficult it is to get a degree. especially if you're not concerned with having a good GPA while you do it basically any braindead idiot can manage a bachelor's with some modicum of effort
>>This tells me that k-pop fans are dumb across the board.
not us though
He dislikes Get It and Bad Boy so he might as well be one of them too.
