I'd rather have Ethereum succeed, but ultimately cryptocurrency is more than any specific shitcoin. Bitcoin cannibalizes crypto to the point its death would be worth losing all existing cryptocurrencies.
Ultimately Bitcoin doesn't need to die, you're the one making autistic comments about ETH premine because you got triggered I named it as the most likely to help a global decoupling. BTC can have an use as a collector item and keep some significant fiat value, but it can't be allowed to remain #1 with the problems that come with it (default trading pair, point of reference, etc.).
