Even among those who will actually choose to fight through it and work many still are stubborn and want to keep on living as they did back home with people from back home refusing to do even the least effort to integrate. These maroccan subcommunities will often be filled with criminals because so many of them are. Honest working men eventually make a family and their sons(some of which are actually taught maroccan instead of italian as babies so they will have trouble integrating) are taught to hate italian culture and to try and make maroccan friends. Again the maroccan sub community being so fileld with criminals many of them end up becoming small time criminals when they are teens. Sometimes breaking out of it when they get older sometimes not. They are a perfectly oiled crime creating machine and the environment they face when they first come aids that a lot.

They learn french instead of english in schools. They learn it better then we learn english too. A somewhat educated maroccan will know above decent french even if he didn't have much of an interest for it. Whereas in Italy you only really learn anything of english if you want to and do it on your own.

I don't know about now precisely. But going to a country isn't that hard. I think i remmeber my father telling me they used to randomly accept and refuse peopel to be granted a work visa. Or you could get a tourist one which only lasted 3 months. I don't know how they can keep staying even without working without a working visa. Perhaps once you are in it is not revoked.
