Fuck I hope yurop's economy crahses when gas prices will inevitably go up again

that's more than the double of the price in my area

ecofags are the one to blame

one of the reasons i bike to work now, goddamn jews

litres

Yes that's why they like small cars

Oy vey, goyim know something.

Attached: 1522103646308.jpg (480x481, 54K)

it's all taxes, we are still paying a tax on oil to finance the Ethiopian war, new taxes were added for the migrant crisis too.

Huge cars can really kill you tax wise aswell, only 250€ a year for my VW golf 7(gas). My previous car (golf 4 diesel) was 350€ a year.

They're artificially kept up, our government have decided (across parties), that gas should never become cheaper due to greenfaggery. Even if the market price drops to $1 a litre, they'll adjust taxes to keep the sales price at $2. Fucking kikes.

it was 2€/l not so many years ago

Jesus christ, it's 60AUD for that much here.

well, the world trade oil in dollars, not euros

They have shorter distances and functioning public transport to offset that.

same in the uk, most of it is duty aka tax

>goddamn jews
Wouldn't it be more Gulf state Arabs?

Travel distances are much shorter here, also our cars drink less on average.
That being said, gas prices are indeed too high, it doesnt effect me that much though, my employer gives me around 140,- of travel allowance (?) each month and I spend like 180, - including personal use

It's still really high

>tfw 0,5 euro/L

>our cars drink less on average

What a special snowflake

Gas in itself is probably as cheap as it can get in the Netherlands since most oil destined for Europe is shipped and refined here.
90% of the price is taxes. When the price of oil went down 70% the price at the pump dropped maybe 10%

My car does about 37 miles per gallon

Here the stats are the following.

Current price 1,680 euro per liter
BTW 17% (VAT / tax)
Accijns 46% (Tax)
Marge 11% (margin for fueling station, distribution, marketing and so on)
Productie 26% (production, refinement)

Ours is even more expensive and most of it is taxes.

It does affect you. Its just an underhanded way of taxing working people without them realizing it.
I used to run the numbers for a large company and when their pensions went down with more than 130 euro a month nobody complained.
But when the kroketten (fried food) prices went up 10 cent people started to complain here lol.

About half of the petrol price goes into taxes

>converting to retarded measurements just to respond to bait

Mine actually doesn't because I drive an old Volvo
>miles per gallon
???

I think he just assumed the American was an idiot and tried to keep things as simple and close to home as possible for him. He's just a really nice guy.

And here was i thinking the gas here is expensive as fuck.

>be the sole producer of oil and gas in Europe
>still have to pay the same price or more as everybody else
And now they want to give our cheap electricity away too

I noticed even in Croatia when I was there that it was super expensive compared to here. They sure as fuck dont have functioning transport lmfao

>It does affect you
The key words were THAT MUCH
>it doesnt effect me that much

>the sole producer of oil and gas in Europe
Hello

My country RON95 is USD0.57 per liter. It used to be half of that since the government used to subsidise 50% of the cost but now doesn't anymore.

Go away Asia

>he owns a car
lel

>he lives with his mom at age 23 and has no future or ambition
lel

No. Europe is our market.

>he keeps on living this miserable life
Lmao

>he lives with his mom at age 23 and has no future or ambition

Do people move out extra early out there in Holland? I wouldn't really bat an eye if a 23 year old told me they lived with their parents in all honesty. Maybe I'm just a loser...

I moved out when I was 19. 23 or older would be really embarrassing here

I am 28, actuarry

Though the unit price is high, a tank is too big.
Do you run it to running out of gas?

>RON
>flag
something's not right

Attached: 1519297597847-1.png (216x277, 59K)

Ah yes, the infamous gasoline tax as it were

>tank is too big
Why would you want to refill more often? And even then it's not that big, a 50L tank only lasts you 800-1000km depending on your consumption.

Bullshit. It's about 0.65 per litre now.
Also don't forget that our nominal wages are almost 6 times smaller than in western european countries.

>3 times as much as here
what the fuck

Attached: 1496937474101.jpg (190x250, 6K)

nigga, you live in Belgium, how can you give a shit about gas price?

not him but what do you mean

LPG master race reporting in
It only costs 0,5€/L

37.40 rub for 92

You are rich as fuck, why would you have to use a bike like a poorfag?

h-haha yes
I sure am rich as fuck, r-right?

What I mean is that I can understand people using bikes for environmental or practical reasons, but because of the gas price?

Belgium is a literal third world country

I want to drive a large car with a loud, powerful engine without going bankrupt over gas prices. Please get me a green card. Adequate mobilization should be a human right

>Unemployment Rate, 6.6%

xpats.com/belgian-average-salary-2015-eu3445-gross-month

well, yeah, you are extremely rich compared to spaniards

I visited your country, don't lie to me. If Belgium is a third world country then Spain must be hell on Earth.

Owning a car is still quite expensive, that be in Spain or in Belgium. A 200usd bike will do just fine.

Not for long

you can buy a decent second hand car with one of your monthly salaries

Yeah, you wish.

Attached: muh_nordstream2.png (633x551, 138K)

what sort of car

buy amerigan pls

Attached: 1491809177238.jpg (1280x720, 90K)

Gas is heavily taxed here. Our being horny for electric cars didn't come from nowhere.

Thats why we got more bikes than people in my country. But on a serieus note. Gas prices are really high I remember when it was 1.75-1.80 a liter. Its one of the ways the goverment tries to support going with public transport and pay for our roads.

We have a park that is literally bigger than your entire country. Can't you bike across your entire country within a few hours or something?

Fucking hate this shit. The gas station I go to actually prints on their receipts how much of the gas price is taxes and it's like 60-70%. The government can't claim it's because muh green environment because they don't fucking care for public transport outside of major cities, at it's core it's exploiting people for monetary gain, just like the ever rising cigarette prices (the rise comes from taxes) which is like 7€ for 20(?) cigs now

lmao I can go buy a pack for $2 from the Indian reserve an hour outside of town. They make it themselves so you dont pay taxes. You should take them into your country, not kebab.

>like the ever rising cigarette prices (the rise comes from taxes) which is like 7€ for 20(?)

That's completely fair though. You deserve to pay idiot tax, especially since smokers are a pretty big strain on public health.

>mfw $0.42/liter

Attached: big truck.jpg (1024x764, 133K)

NO WONDER AMERICANS ROADS ARE SO SHIT

that and we have a huge road network that isnt sustainable

Maybe if you get niggers and women to be a net positive rather than negative drain with taxes you could have roads.

By car you go go from east to west in 2.5 hours and from north to south in 3 hours. So yes you could bike that but it will take you a long time. 300km is quite a lot of biking.

Are Spanish people really this dumb? Do you guys not understand the concept of cost of living?

>gas cheaper in canada
>still more expensive because everything is miles appart

Stop living in Nunavut you red nigger

>miles per gallon

Too many cars, too little room.

Taxing things you want to discourage is a standard operating procedure for most of the world's governments.

Since I have no idea how much worth 1 euro is, I can't tell whether it's expensive or not..

This is in proper Europe that is. In Finland the government taxes fuel just to fix the holes in their budget as Finland is sparsely populated that taxing cars and fuel is probably more harmful for the people living in the countryside than it is useful for cutting down traffic in urban areas.

They should implement traffic tolls in cities and cut the transportation related taxes so cities become less crowded with cars and the people in the countryside don't have to pay in blood and internal organs just to get around.

>Nordstream
G*rmans have once again betrayed Europe

We're fucked, bru.

Attached: 1518907152582.png (808x805, 446K)

The government decides to levy heavier taxes on oil only to deter its people from driving their cars..? Well... economically it's not like it doesn't make sense but politically, it's highly unlikely because they won't adopt such an aggressive policy in the fear of losing their votes

Every democratic political system runs on the basis of populism to some extent

Funnily enough it's quite cheap to run some old American V8 landbarge here, as long as it's >40 years old and you put in a LPG system. LPG is like 60 cents per liter, and since it's more than 40 years old, you don't pay any road tax (which is normally higher for cars with LPG). On top of that, insurance for older cars is super cheap too.

Attached: DIkVNcGXUAES3w1.jpg large.jpg (2048x1536, 890K)

Lmao it's only 1.47 here

euros getting cucked

Popularity doesn't seem to factor in as basically all our main parties support heavy fuel taxes.

This is true even in Norway and they have massive oil reserves.

>higher for cars with LPG
Why doesn't the government encourage the use of it by lower taxes?

because were trying to get rid of gas because our government hates you. and fucking groningers dont want the gas drillings anymore

Then that must be because majority of the citizens there kinda agree that higher taxes on oil are needed and inevitable. Here in Korea, it's unthinkable. if the government arbitrarily decides to raise fuel taxes without clear and convincing reasons, people will flock at every square and take to streets.

i thought we were the only ones getting heavily tax'd on gas

Since LPG is 3x cheaper than petrol, the government simply taxes LPG cars more so they don't lose out too much on fuel tax.
Which is fucking retarded because LPG is cleaner than petrol, thus should be encouraged. It's still quite popular for classic cars, people who drive a lot but don't want to drive a diesel and people driving trucks/landbarges.

LPG ≠ natural gas, LPG is also a by-product from oil refineries

Gas price should be even bigger. Stop polluting the environment!!!

fuck off Russia is our friend

I pay $86 to fill a 50L tank.

Attached: 1522114687858.jpg (807x659, 42K)

can someone translate this into real money and units?

If a tank is empty, I understand the 50l refueling.
The long distance isn't necessary for Japan being small :)
I don't half do below it for prevention of rust.
I want a lot allowance in the lesson that gasoline became lacking in by mega earthquake.
