This thread is for the discussion of the language, culture, travel, daily life, etc. of Japan. Let's tark at randam in Japanese and English. Take it easy!
Ogata is very cute! I like that he is like a cat. Hijikata is a cool older man.
Is it really that silly of a voice? I have always been told I look and sound young, I have a slight complex about my voice being too soft. It is not on purpose, I would very much like a mature cool voice to match my age. Thank you for telling me your age! It is interesting to speak with people of varying ages for different perspective.
Your voice doesn’t sound silly. It’s clear like tinkle of a bell.

You have a cute voice I'm not sure how much you know about IPA symbols but I think it's worth taking a look at the IPA table for Japanese and Swedish and check what's the same, what's relatively the same and what's different Might give you a good idea what to concentrate on I looked on the Swedish phonology article and looks like Swedish is missing double consonants and I'm not sure but I think you're saying W like V
I have a question for you, what does Japanese sound like to you? It sounds kind of like Ü to me
I did not know about this, thank you very much! We do not have double consonants in Swedish as you said so it can be tricky to learn pronunciation that uses it.
I think Japanese has some similarities to Finnish when spoken.
I knew this! He was a very handsome man.

By the way, I have something to ask you! In Sweden, is it very common to get nails done at the nail salon?
>I did not know about this, thank you very much! We do not have double consonants in Swedish as you said so it can be tricky to learn pronunciation that uses it. Try putting two words together like this but in Swedish of course big cabs(double k) vs big abs(1 K only ) It's just in Japanese you need it inside a word If you have any questions, ask away anytime
>I think Japanese has some similarities to Finnish when spoken. The vowels are similar and there's no strong-weak stress pattern And they both have double consonants and long vowels Both languages are also agglutinative, too
いいなあ、そういったところに生まれたかった。毎日たのしそう。 ピンチの時に、お店の人に声をかけられたんだ。あのときは助かった笑 What does those mean? Single K and single G. なんかその言い方可愛い笑 我慢しすぎじゃない?贅沢ではないと思うよ。職場に嫌な人でもいるの?
>What does those mean? Single K and single G.
>This is very helpful, thank you! >I am very new at japanese. You're welcome
