Visby, where I live.

Las Vegas

I cannot think of any Dutch city that isn’t pure shit. Our cities are small, pathetic, bad roads for cars, non-whites everywhere and no modern skyscrapers.
Best Dutch city is probably new-Amsterdam

God this country sucks

Many Dutch on here say that Groningen is alright.

All cities in this country are fucking terrible. Ugly architecture and terrible planning, but danes won't admit this because they are brain dead nationalists.

>skyscrapers
>good

Imdina

Lisbon because all the other cities are dead and Porto is old and falling apart

My city, Tokyo

>Groningen
Lol I live there it’s dogshit I cannot drive my car anywhere and have no parking available IN MY OWN STREET

yeah because its a student city and students are 4chans primary demo.

northern netherlands is shit dont believe the lies literally communist gas field niggers

there are good places in southern netherlands though. like brabant or antwerp(its ours)

Attached: Antwerpen-Brabo.jpg (2736x3648, 3.98M)

Nantes for a big city because its location is good next to beaches, the people are relatively more educated than in other places in France and there are less immigrants than elsewhere in France but desu all large cities in France are shit.

funchal is lit imo

dunno, my hometown is quite alright

>nationalists.
>In Denmark
HA!!

>Groningen good
>poorest city in the Netherlands only kept afloat by student hand-outs
>highest increase of property prices in the nation
>want to rent 80m2 3 room appartment for €1.1k per month? Proof us you make €5k a month LOL (that puts you in top 1% of shithole Groningen)
>no jobs
>only pathetic small old buildings
God I hate it here

never been there but it might be good too, I forgot about the islands

because you are a lazy fat fuck
>MUH CAR

the only thing i liked about lisbon was the view from the plane just before landing.
btw is that true that water in the ocean in Lisbon is always cold because of some cold flows and shit? i thought about visiting Madeira in August and looks like i have to spend 3 days in Lisbon

Groningen is a bunch of socially conservative racist economically communists farmers.

no good cities in russia except westernized Saint-Petersburg

Parking is a nightmare in Europe. I don't know how y'all deal with it.
I always wanted to see the Zeeland area. I don't know why.

I crossed the border to Maastricht from Aachen and I liked M.

Oulu

R8 how my neighbors park their car
Also they are going to turn my street into paid parking this week so from now on I have to pay them €70 per year for the privilege of parking in front of my house
Fucking kill me

what didn't you like about Lisbon? Genuinely curious because I'm from a small city in the north originally and I fell in love with Lisbon the moment I came here. I also find a lot of foreigners who prefer Porto to Lisbon, which is mind-boggling to me

Water is always cold in the atlantic shore, that's just a given. No idea about cold flows or anything like that.

Maastricht is very nice. It’s also not Dutch, but Flamish-German. Dutch people are incapable of making nice cities.

Zeeland is probably our worst province. You’d be terribly disappointed

We zijn buren :)

Welke straat

miet

i did not say i didn't like lisbon, i just said the only thing i liked about it.
I was in Lisbon Airport waiting for a flight to Funchal, but fucking migration police told me i was not allowed to go there because i was 17 at that time. I spent 8 hours in a room full of different people from Brazil, Cabo-Verde and other places
After that i was free to board on a flight which was about to depart, so i literally had no time to visit the actual city of Lisbon
Maybe i will in a few months but my local friend says there is nothing to do there in August

Sochi? Vladivostok?
>Dat gap
So annoying. Just take up 2 spots!!

ik weet waar je woont verwacht een bezoekje binnenkort

Attached: aivd.jpg (1230x930, 486K)

Moet je rap zijn want de huisbaas gaat mij binnenkort eruit zetten

i was in Sochi, it is just a great fucking lie
If all money invested in it would not be stolen by local authorities, Sochi might have been a nice city (70% of the money were stolen)
But it is a complete shithole except one or two nice-looking stadiums, parks and squares

Can't say anything about Vladivostok, never been there

All cities suck here t b h

But I'll choose Karlskrona as my favorite, because I live here

Attached: 1508268942899.jpg (1994x1994, 1.65M)

ah, okay

nothing to do there in august? It's absolutely packed at that time with tourists, which despite being a bit annoying can be a good thing because that means there's always something to do. It's just very hot at that time.

I've been in a few countries and I can't say I've ever been to a city I love more than Lisbon. If it wasn't for the ridiculously high rent prices in relation to wages and the lack of proper well-paid jobs it would be my ideal city by miles

Same thing happens here. Our roads are shitty because the contractors steal the city money.

I live on this island

Attached: Karlskrona.jpg (5616x3744, 2.66M)

My first own trip was to lisbon. I liked it a lot, very nice city indeed. Nowadays its going to same path as Budapest though with every student ‘discovering’ it and soon it will be overhyped.

Milan, it's the only place in Italy where it feels like (current year)

my friend says that if i have the opportunity to go to Madeira in August, it would be better cuz a lot of parties are exactly there at that time
And the island will be full of brits who drink like monsters

but what exactly is wrong with Budapest?

SA wtudying abroad.
Lisboa is awesome. Also round Porto really pretty but it felt too old and kinda abandoned in some parts. still loved the Art Deco architecture. Sintra was great too.

>Norwegian """"cities""""
But Trondheim I guess

Attached: Sentrum_Trondheim.jpg (1102x721, 504K)

sounds like another realm from MCU

Hopefully this student wave will stop soon, because it's mostly because of it that rent prices have gone up the roof for the last couple of years. I'm living in an 12-bedroom shared flat with 2 bathrooms right now and I'm paying 360€, which is how much an entire 3 or 4 bedroom apartment costs in my city up in the north. This is actually considered a good price for Lisbon in the current market. When minimum wage is 600€/month and average wage is 800€, you can see the problem here.

yeah Madeira tends to be full of english people in the summer and I'm sure there's always shit going on at that time

from my experience, Spaniards always love Porto. Personally I feel it's too old, ugly, grey and depressing.

>Spaniards always love Porto. Personally I feel it's too old, ugly, grey and depressing.
funny i think Lisbon is more depressing than Porto, then again i haven't been there too many times.

A little slice of heaven desu

what do you think of the Sky Tree? Does it replace the Tokyo Tower?

I'm based in Okayama pref.
My favorite city is Okayama City.

No thanks, I'd rather be a terrone and live in my own shit and trash

There are no good cities in Russia, they all are shit.

Montpellier
It's far from perfect and it's not as big as cities like Lyon or Bordeaux.
But there is still plenty to do, many people here wouldn't like it because it's a very normie city, lots of students, hot girls everywhere, "degenate" etc but I don't care.
It has a top tier climate, quick acess to the sea and the comfy mountains of the Massif Central, excellent transportation, big enough to be entertained but not too big, modern districts and buildings but also quaint narrow Mediterranean street
I'm not from this city proper but it always was this biggest and most interesting city close to where I was born so I spent a lot of good days here

Poznań.

Definitely the most civilized and European one.

My pleasure f am
I can't wait to be back there in 2 weeks

Buenos Aires is best latam city.

Attached: Avenida_Roque_Sáenz_Peña_(Diagonal_Norte).jpg (2937x2203, 1.99M)

>If it wasn't for the ridiculously high rent prices in relation to wages

Haha, you haven't been to eastern Europe then, where rent prices are higher than the average wage.

will it sink?

Any other recommendations for french cities?

Paris is unironically my 2nd favorite city
I wouldn't want to live there unless I had much more money, but I have family there and have been visiting several times a year since my childhood
Whatever the memes say (righfully so or not) I'm still amazed by the beauty and riches of this city, for someone who likes history and old stones it's still heaven

Anyway, go to Annecy. One of the most stunning places out there, both for the town itserlf and the nature around
Fucking comfy evenings I've spent there on the lake shore with the mountains on the background, a bit cliché but doesn't make it any less good. Be careful it can be very touristy given the time of the year tho

No such thing. If Hell is on Earth this must be it. People from all over the Hell are punished to spend here their whole life.

bendigo
fuck you sound so gay and whiny

This is what daily life for Dutch people looks like

Attached: Almere_Centrum.jpg (3860x2171, 1.58M)

I can see his point though. Never been to his city but the Netherlands has got to be the blandest country I've ever been to. Eindhoven was absolutely dreadful, what a shit city. Don't get me wrong, I liked some other cities but in general I found it a very lifeless, bland country. Like it has no soul.

Why the fuck would you go to Eindhoven lmao

Montreal is the nicest city in Canada, though apparently it is a shell of what it used to be.

Attached: montreal.jpg (1162x598, 179K)

False.

Attached: Vancouver.jpg (3750x1673, 3.71M)

Vancouver is pretty (due to natural scenery, not the city itself) but it is a boring city with no soul and no culture. The downtown is tiny, most of Vancouver is just suburban sprawl. It's only real selling points are that it doesn't get a Canadian winter and that there are plenty of outdoor activities just outside the city.

>natural scenery
That's the most important thing though, as long as you have the normal amenities you'd expect in a city. Yes, it's a bonus if your city has nice streets and buildings and such, but natural scenery is KEY. It is at least 90% of my own evaluation on how nice a city is desu.

ryanair only flies to eindhoven, it was a necessary stop and I had a few hours to spare before my train
