Wow, the world is such a nice place. Can't wait to go visit the World Trade Center on my trip to NYC next month!

*no more immigrant crisis*
*no more fear of terrorism from isis*
I like it desu

Nothing much changes in all reality, people like to look at the events of Bush's presidency as being biased in some way.

But in all reality that was the only way a president could handle an event like 9/11, the War on Terror had to happen, there was no way around it. There was no way in absolute hell a president could have just said, "Oh well, shit happens." and not bombed someone to shit.

As for Iraq, they were already a major major enemy of the USA, and the invasion had been coming for over a decade, it just so happened to be in 2003.

Fart tax

Bush is a retard so it couldn't have been worse

No it's not. Iraq War II boogaloo would not have happened. They had zero to do with Osama. It was just Bush jr having daddy issues. Had Iraq been contained instead of invaded, there will be no ISIS. Saudi will also not have as much influence in the region as it has today. Same with Iran finally winning over its mortal enemy and spreading Shiite uprisings across the region. Don't give me that Saddam was eeeeeviiiillll crap. The US doesn't care for such things unless it suits them.

I don't really get why so many people have this opinion of him, he handled both 9/11 and Katrina almost perfectly, sure he is not without criticism, but he was certainly not a retard.

Nigger you are aware that Iraq government attempted to assassinate a US politician during the Bill Clinton presidency, and it resulted in us bombing Baghdad, not to mention Bill nearly invaded them.

They were always going to be finished off by the USA, that was always going to happen, just Bush just decided enough was enough. After the cunt refused to condemn Al Qaeda for 9/11, despite the fact that literally every other country did (incl. the likes of Libya, North Korea, Syria, and Russia)

Saddam wasn't a real threat, at least after 91 and Bush administration lied about the WMDs and tried to link him with Bin Laden to justify one of the most retarded things the USA ever did

The Guatemalan governments spends only 3% of its GDP on education, so even those students who try to go to school often fail out. Sadly, more than 30% of females drop out of school before the third level

Wow guys I sure do love the twin towers! Imagine if some maniac blew them up and then crashed some planes to justify an invasion of Iraq which would have had nothing to do with it even if terrorists did do it!

I was in high school in 2000 and IIRC this guy was seen as not much different than Bush, basically a neoconservative who was pro-choice. Lefties hated him and voted for a third party candidate, which likely had a lot to do with Bush winning. So basically, things probably would not have been much different.

>wake up
>turn on PBS
>"the joy of painting with George Bush"
>can't wait to visit the twin towers today
>no Hilary, no Sanders
>not get shot

life is great

McCain defeats Gore in 2004, starts a war with Russia or China. We all die

what if the next Stalin-Jew-Hitler president succeeding al gore was visiting the towers that day

Bush won because the vote count was tampered with.

He should have won

I can't believe the COP21 Climate Agreement was ratified 16 years ago !

Hey does anyone have any protips for visiting Syria? I was thinking about visiting Damascus and maybe taking a tour of Aleppo and Palmyra. I really want to see the beautiful ancient ruins and enjoy the local culture. I've heard it's really safe there for visitors. I've always wanted to have coffee at a small Damascus cafe and enjoy a traditional breakfast while overlooking this ancient and beautiful city. :)

Let me guess, you also think the Sept 11 attacks were an inside job and that the moon landing was fake?

9/11 would have happened regardless, but I feel Gore wouldn't have went as far with the warmongering in the Middle East. Climate change would have been his big pet project policy

>comparing a questionable terrorist attack which STILL hasn't had all of its classified details revealed (even after "declassification" of files), which the government was literally LITERALLY warned about ahead of time, to a transparent and widely accepted moon landing, even verified by Soviet/Russian scientists

>9/11 is comparable to flat-earth moon landing deniers
wtf I no longer question entire counties' having their votes misplaced?

He'd have had to go after Al-Qaeda after 9/11. Probably not Iraq, though.

fuck John Kerry (no offense). Gore was better

We go down a much nicer path, though we do lose some good vidya and movies.

Honestly, Obama was fully to blame for not intervening and dethroning assad when he had the chance. All his generals advised the decision.

And all the buildings are made out of weed.

Greetings from Mars. I am enjoying my free vacation up here and love that I am able to connect with Earthlings.

It's actually kind of crazy to think of the way this would've changed history. I don't believe he would've lasted 2 terms (16 straight years of one party controlling the Presidency? I think the only time that's happened was with FDR and Truman), but Obama never would've become President, and in turn Trump wouldn't have become President.

I mean, he did win the popular vote. If we didn't have a fucked up system, he would've been president.

and so would Hillary :)

>"wtf why is the air so clean?"
>"why is everyone white?"
>"what do you mean wage labour has been abolished?"

Anybody else glad we listened to President Gore and worked together on an international scale to truly fight climate change?

I'm so glad we saved the planet guys, now my great grandchildren can have a bright future
