Because most of the teens are closet atheists and got nothing to do, also most of them watch garbage like One Piece and Dragon Ball so there's that.

Isaiah Adams
Anime is popular everywhere.
John Barnes
they don't write vowels in normal sentences, the language is structured so that they are implied when you read something. You should take a look at their alphabet, it's really no different than say Cyrillic, you think it looks like scribbles because the letters connect to one other usually. Each letter still makes a certain sound

Because most cartoons we watched in our childhood were japanese dubbed in arabic.
Heidi, Romeo and the black brothers, that old sinbad anime, that old Remi anime, tales of little women and the likes, Beyblade, Robin Hood, Thunder Jet was especially popular,
Western cartoons apart from the famous Disney shows weren't watched that often, at least in my childhood.
DBZ and OP weren't dubbed until like 5 years ago or something.
Christian Walker
Mongols like anime more, there's an anime about their conquest coming up sometime.

Semitic alphabets are aesthetic. One day I'd want to learn Aramaic just for fun. The bad thing is not that they look like srcibbles. It's that they are written from right to left, which is too much for, err, an overly-fixated person like me. It's like reading a page in reverse or something.

To answer your question OP :
- Extreme weather conditions force you to stay cooped up in your home all day long so you eventually pick up a computer or a phone to kill the boredom, very much the same reason why eastern europeans that are snowbound most of the year tend to be adept hax0rs and game modders.
- Most of us grew up watching Ghibli films, FotNS, Gundams, Macross, Captain Tsubasa and so on and so forth, so it's only natural to come back to it
- If there's any demographic that needs escapism the most it's sandniggers. We not only have to deal with hellish temperatures and poor living conditions, but also pisslam and the complete retardation of our compatriots

It took me like 2 hours to memorize 40% of letters and its forms in sentences. It's not difficult at all. Calligraphy looks extremely difficult though. It's difficult to even read latin alphabet in some calligraphy for me.
