that's kinda fucked up m8 no offence.
Can most Americans name this man?
Where do you live ?
My state is kinda autistic about early America and focuses on stuff that happened in the state :)
Illinois. You?
Virginia, hence all the Americans that I stated were from their. And Cornwallis was stationed in this state
That's odd, I would've thought Virginian education to be better than that.
East coast states are autistic and try to spin history to make them seem the best.
I explicitly remember learning that Norfolk was the most important naval base in America during WW2.
It also claims that Roanoke colony was in Virginia, (it was actually in North Carolina)
Funny thing is is that it's not even necessary, considering Virginia has some of the greatest history in the entire country. But they still do it for some reason.
I honestly assumed other states did it as well
literally balkan tier
generic late 1700s dude
Ahh, yeah
Marquis de Lafayette to George Washington, 22 July 1783
>I must again tell you how happy you made your friend by your letters enclosing the proceedings of the army. In every instance, My dear General, I have the satisfaction to love and to admire you. The conduct you had on that occasion was highly praised throughout all Europe, and your returning to a private station is called the finishing stroke to an unparalleled character. Never did a man exist who so honorably stood in the opinions of mankind, and your name, if possible, will become still greater in posterity. Everything that is Great, and everything that is Good were not hitherto united in one man. Never did one man live whom the soldier, statesman, patriot, and philosopher could equally admire, and never was a Revolution brought about, that in its motives, its conduct, and its consequences could so well immortalize its Glorious Chief. I am proud of you, My dear General, your Glory makes me feel as if it was my own—and while the world is gaping at you, I am pleased to think, and to tell, the qualities of your heart do render you still more valuable than anything you have done.
Why do retards on this board not seen to grasp that American education is incredibly decentralized and that just because their shit state has a shit curriculum, doesn't mean that the other 49 do? Forget history, you people need to be taught basic civics.
