wated numbers.
those universities are filled with foreigners.
which % of the population is in those universities? you fucking retarded gook.

Now look at the Asian population in those universities. For example, UC Berkeley is 40% Asian. Caltech is more than 50% Asian. MIT is almost 40% Asian.

>those universities are filled with foreigners.
Could it be... how americans keep themselves on top?
Do you honestly expect them to compete against the entire world and win?

>tfw got rejected by Stanford but accepted by Berkeley, so I had to go to Berkeley
>friend got accepted into Stanford
Feels bad man

are you a freshman? I have a feeling that only a freshman would still have such a stupid mentality towards college admissions

anyways do you want to meet me

do you still have that rock

is being a parent easier or harder than being a college student

My in-laws have it
Harder but more rewarding, college was honestly pretty easy. My high school teachers were nailing it into my head that it'd be super hard but it was probably easier than high school.

>tfw you will NEVER have a qt mutt daughter

>thinks all Americans have access or attends these universities.

This. Just because Zhang and ibn Abdul have access to top tier facilities, the vast majority of Americans do not.

not him but how do you like working for the MTA

I have a college degree but still work my stupid blue collar job in transportation. Don't really know what kind of career moves I should make to move up.

I like the job, just avoid doing anything that requires you to work with the public because you'll want to blow your head off

did you major in civil engineering or city planning
I feel like college is easier but I am also significantly less motivated

do you recommend any classes or whatever here

this isn't that true desu, I think any American or even non-american could get into a school with similar facilities fairly easily, whether through the community college route or from HS

Transportation Engineering
Really any course about transportation
Logistics, traffic, and analysis courses are good as well

What'd the post say?

it said "I don't have any pictures, I burned them all after I beat her to death with a rock"

It seems there's a massive drop-off point somewhere. Their top-500 per capita ranking is not good. So your options as an American seem to be to work yourself to the bone to be in one of the best unis in the world or settle on a less than mediocre one? Have I understood this right?

no, not at all. I think you are conflating a lot of people going to shitty universities with there being a lack of access to good universities, this isn't true. Many GI bill recipients chose to go to for-profit colleges like ITT Tech, even if better universities in terms of education would have taken them.

there are just as many opportunities at any large state university as there are at the universities listed above. I go to Berkeley, my friends at ASU from high school are on the same paths in their careers as I am. At the end of the day, it seems like the only substantial difference is prestige.

Of course, there are differences in class offerings, possibly more talented faculty, smaller student to faculty ratio, etc, etc...but do these things necessarily result in a better educational experience for an undergrad... except for range of class offerings, I am not so sure.

if you intend to go to professional school (MD, JD) after graduation, going to a state school might even be a better option... better to be a big fish in a small pond, you know...

at the end of the day, any university with "very high" research output as listed here carnegieclassifications.iu.edu/ and a developed department that you want to enter is a good place to be, I think

bump

And with way higher standard compared to whites and nigger
Niggers will get in as long as they can write their name and whites will get their shit as long as they didn't fuck up high school really badly
Asians? They'd say you're dumb if you didn't get full mark and they'd say you're uncreative when you get full mark
When both is fine they'll say it's due to muh murican education style

bump

Most of those unis are majority non US born students

>meme ranking
what do these universities actually achieve?
