however if a thing changes upon suffering from the actions of an agent, then what is thought to be known is not what it was before it was known.
the nuance here being that if a thing is, it presumably must be immutable and fixed, but in the act of going from unknown or any impact of some affect, it must undergo change. therefore it seems we can only know things that are becoming, but never are.
if you then contend that being is becoming, the problem is that then nothing can be the same thing as what it appeared to be momentarily beforehand.
