North is more French-influenced, south is more Greek-influenced, and central parts make up the gap between them.

Basques are pure Iberians, while Spanish/Portuguese are not. Sardinians are a super pure people-group, direct descendants of neolithic farmers.

I don't know why north Italians are so similar to Iberians though, if anything southern Italians would be more similar because they were occupied by Aragon for a long time.

This makes sense, must be the French admixture in north Italy and northeast Spain.
