>That'll be twelve (12) dollars plus tip
That'll be twelve (12) dollars plus tip
What is tip?
who ?
Sorry, my english is bad
Extra money that you give to someone for their service. Very popular in the United States and taken to the extreme. Basic services such as being a waiter or cutting hair can have people giving you tips alongside the price you charge.
15% if you aren't a greedy fuck and the service was good
Sure, it's practically pocket change anyways.
imagine being so cucked you socially have to pay sheckleburgs employees wages
Aren't they have enough salary to provide good service? Why I should pay extra money for good service? And if I wouldn't they will provide bad service to me next time? And how bad it will be?
Some srrvices such as restraunts are allpwed to pay their employees as little as I think it was $4.25 an hour because they expect tips to help them. If they don't maje even enough for the minimum wage of their state then the boss is legally required to pay them the minimum wage for that week.
Pay your fucking waiters, they're not beggars fuck's sake
Oh and also if you provide bad tips and keep on going then they may take longer before they give you your menu, give you lower quality food, and if you're a really big asshole then they may even spit on your food or even rub some trash juice on it or even worse. Lots of horror stories about this type of thing.
foot lettuce comes readily to mind
his job didn't get tips anyway though
8-10 dollars an hour is enough for a job like that
If you don't tup just change the restaurant.
>Land of Liberty
They make $9.25 an hour where I live, that's pretty good
I can't survive on $8.50 an hour, which is what I'm left with after taxes
Well you are not to supposed to live on a part time/student job. Tho you actually can survive if you don't live in a city or just live with your parents until you find a proper job.
the idea is that the service they provide gives them an extra benefit...otherwise known as a tip.
If you perform the basic service you should expect no tips. People who make an effort and customize the experience to the customer and do more than just basic customer service could perhaps expect a tip.
People normally pay more for a service because of what the service provides (top-end hairdressers, restaurants, etc) and in those cases, you may never ever get tips and if you do, it is not at all proportionate to the service because you have paid shitloads already.
>having minium wage
wtf is murica communist or something?
The minimum wage here is $10/hour. I can survive on that even in this disgusting city. But for every $10, $1.50 goes straight into the government's back pocket before I ever get to see it. Taxation is theft.
>taxation is theft
>but toilberg making money off you isnt
We do
I am no socialist but I believe in balance. Corporations should exist in businesses that require creativity and innovation and development.... But in some fields like education and infrastructure we need the government protection by subsidezed services through your tax. Nothing wrong with that.
>because nothing goes wrong in education ever
>because the government actually maintains roads and doesn't just let them rot
>because the government actually builds roads instead of blowing millions on environmental research before killing the project
Here in Maine we're now ten bucks and are raising it to 12 bucks in 2020. 2021 and over will have it be tied to the Consumer Price Index. Good for us locals but we're now getting out of state yuppies in Portland trying to get in on it and pushing out our local yuppies. Northern Massachusetts is now gonna be a real thing with the rapid expansion that's going on around here now.
