as it should be.

The UK is speaking my language

It somewhat manages to bother me too. Just doesn't feel right in my head.

as it should be.

But there is a difference between American English and British English. Steam probably only uses American English. And there are more customers in America for them probably.

get used to it fag

Flags shouldn't be symbols for languages. Mine is spoken in four countries and official in zero.

What is your language?

That's true, but British English is the standardised form in commonwealth countries (as were). The majority of English speakers are neither British nor American people, they're Indians. America just has the most natively English speaking people.

as far as I know the american flag is only used when american english is used. For example ive never seen a program that uses the american flag to use the words "colour" "programme" or "apologise"

>american company that uses american english uses the american flag to represent the language

Besides English, Aramaic or 'Syriac'. I'll rewrite my thorough list here of who speaks it, which I keep losing:

Jews from Kurdistan and Persian Azerbaijan; some of the Mandaeans from around the Persian Gulf; Christians from Tur Abdin, from Kurdistan and Persian Azerbaijan, from around Maaloula near Damascus, and from modern colonies around the Caucasus; Muslims from around Maaloula. And a large diaspora for all these groups (the Jewish speakers and Christian speakers from the far southeast of Turkey being majority 'wiped out' from their original home).

The last time it was the main language of any government (AFAIK) was under the autonomous Patriarchal region of Assyrian Christians in Hakkari state, Turkey, until the 1840s. The Christians from Kurdistan and Persian Azerbaijan, the Aramaic-speaking portion of which which is what Assyrian Christians most often refers to in English, is probably the largest group of speakers in recent centuries.

Among those colonies around the Caucasus is apparently a village in southern Russia near Krasnodar.

Sorry, one small correction: from around Tur Abdin, not just Tur Abdin.

Please tell me this isn't real.

I got pissed everytime when they use San Marino flag for the Italian language

Don't care desu the US is the cultural superpower, sometimes I wish we had our own language though. It's mental that Polish people and Japs etc. have their own language internet away from the world.

Half the spastics in this country use American English anyway

this isn't true. you just speak in a sing songy accent

Have you tried reading the Talmud that is written in Aramaic? Is it understandable? How mutually intelligible is your language to Arabic and Hebrew?

>britain
Is there still anyone who actually cares about that miserably fallen left-behind region of the earth?

I wouldn't mind if their flag wasn't hideous

Pot calling the kettle black

red, white and blue are god tier colours for a flag, but the red and blue should never touch, it looks tacky and awful

>McThreeStripeDonald's

>the union flag is hideous

Said no one ever.

Look who's talking

Ugly flag
Ugly flag
No the American flag is ugly too but the UK flag is so bright and tacky. I spot it from a mile away. So unnatural.

I guess a first aid kit is better than the Austalian, British and American monstrosities but still. The Russian flag is a tricolor that looks neat and is what we expect from flags.

Personally I am a fan of the Estonian, Cuban and Palestinian flags. Spain is nice too.

The tricolour is so horribly overdone that you have to at least have an interesting colour combination to make it work. You've managed to pick the most overdone colours as well, and then put them in probably the least aesthetically pleasing order.
I agree about Estonia, Cuba and Spain.

Yeah maybe you're right. I am just visiting Russia anyways. I don't really care for their flag. It is quite generic. They should have kept the ussr flag

You're just a disgusting contrarian.
