I spend all day on Jow Forums, so i guess im an Jow Forumsellectual now. I dont need books.

we just read faster than most people tbqh

Reading is for nerds. Only time I read is when I can't sleep or when I pass out drinking and wake up too early

It's not the same thing. Only brainlets and uneducated spend their leisure time glued to computer or their mobile.

Yeah, and we're not poor, we're just not materialistic

no you're definitely poor

Yeah, and you definetly don't read books

see:

Reading books is more of a poorfag (i.e. unintelligent) pastime compared to computer use for leisure.

So much for reading fast, huh

Did this only include countries with non-white immigrant population?

what if im really slow at reading?
a book that most people read in between 1 or 2 months takes me 6 months

seething

>television (religious)
w-what? is there religious TV?

Me? No, I'm just saying maybe one of your statements was less than credible.

I think it means religiously watching TV.

you dont have a religious channel?

no, afaik germany and switzerland don't have any either.

>Australian flag

No surprise, can't really think of even one author of Australian origin, and you'd write in English as well, so takes some special kind of culture to feel such apathy for litterature.

it's just that you people are too lazy to walk to church for religious service i bet, so they show it on tv

Excuses for not reading at a normal rate.

>not buying the service transmission thru PPV
its like you hate baby jesus or something

I bet you're "smart but lazy". Success is directly related to intelligence, poorfag. Spend more time on Jow Forums and less time with your books and maybe you'll become rich some day.

Also I like how you covered your arse by bringing up that we speak English as if it excuses Finland from having no relevant authors either. And if you did they'd probably Fennoswedes anyway.

bravo Estonia

I used to be a reader too until I took an arrer to the knee.

I'm high IQ(tested by a psychologist) and I spend my time being glued to a computer, I'm uneducated though.

I haven't read a book since I was thirteen or something.

Complete lack of integrity helps more with earning money, if that's how you define success.
But it really is interesting, there are two Finnish authors who write mainly in English (Hannu Rajaniemi and Emmi Itäranta) and it's not even their first language. Even if the text is not that impressive, they're still more interesting than what Australia has to offer.

>mfw dealing with retarded friends who think watching youtube videos is a completely valid replacement for reading books

Are you a Fenno-Swede?

what should I do if I don't enjoy reading books and always get distracted? should I force myself? kill myself?

but i hav read three books during last week user pls do not judge me

Of course not, fenno-swedes are illiterate farmers.

>intelligence has no correlation with success
The absolute state of bookniggers. Have you even read any Australian books, or are you basing this assessment off nothing?

I don't believe in those block tests. It just means you're capable to predict the following pattern, that's it. Still, reading wouldn't do any harm, broaden your knowledge and all.

It's a skill you learn. Quite following SoMe and reading non-stop news updates. Feels weird at first, but you'll notice you're not missing out on anything important. It's better than yoga, makes you consentrate on here now.

>All these shit graphs without Iceland
>"This island nation of just over 300,000 people has more writers, more books published and more books read, per head, than anywhere else in the world."

IQ is correlated with all kinds of stuff and it's a good proxy for general intelligence.
I would like to enjoy reading, but I just don't and can't read, because I get distracted and start thinking about other stuff instead.

>Quite following SoMe and reading non-stop news updates
I don't understand this sentence, what's SoMe?

Social media

Why are we green and at the bottom desu. We aren't the lowest on that list

Non-EU countries are separated at the bottom. You should have realised that if you were well-read.

In America yes

but I had this issue even before social media existed or before I had a computer

That's the problem, I don't know any Australian authors.
