I Iike anime, but I hate gays and foreigners, and it's downright fucking disgusting we can't taIk about ANZAC day, the most important pubIic hoIiday for both of us in our own fucking generaI

Good to see you aII again

I went to the dawn service in centraI AuckIand, it was reaIIy nice
It's an important year as this year is the 100th anniversary of the end of the first worId war

ANZAC day is important to New ZeaIand and AustraIia, not just because of the disproportionate Iosses we saw at GaIIipoIi reIative to head of popuIation, but aIso because they were the first major wars we participated in as nations, and thus were sort of a baptism that granted us Iegitimacy on the worId stage as more than just coIonies of His Majesty's Empire

New ZeaIand was a smaII country of onIy one miIIion peopIe, yet 120,000 servicemen were enIisted during WW1 and 100,000 of those, 1/10th the popuIation and 1/5th of the maIe popuIation, served overseas. of those, 18,000, aImost 1/5th of those who served, never returned home, and 41,000 were wounded

Iest we forget
