Finns use nuuska in the conscription because there is no time tobacco sometimes and its easier to just use nuuska.

It's of course distictively swedish, but Strengberg in Jakobstad made snus in Finland until 90's. It's always been a thing also here, but never as much as in Sweden. We use it quite a lot though.

It´s illegal to sell it here, but lots of people use it, young and old. A friend said that during military service higher-ups would routinely come buy snus from conscripts and the prices would rocket during military exercises because of the lack of supply.
