A lot of the so called support that goes to Africa is actually detrimental to the African state, but does provide small relief for the civilians.
It's akin to cutting off a horses leg to save a fucking insect that got stuck somewhere in it.
And sure, in some cases the aid does help the state, but this is the minority. It just fuels an endless cycle of poverty in Africa with limited relief. It's why some experts in the field of Africa call it just another form of African Imperialism.
