Well Finland was a buffer zone against Russia and the least developed part of the realm but generally Swedes didnt treat Finns badly.

Many people forget that during that time it was hell to live for 99% of the people and when Finland was part of Sweden there was no human rights memes invented yet. I guess scanians and norwegians were actually treated worse.
