I watched with a spanish dub/PT subs as a kid, but I think they made an actual PT dub years later.
But yeah, aired in our local kids' channel. They have a lot of anime.
thats cool. im not sure if the US ever aired him when i was younger but i never saw it. only knew about him threw korean vhs. i actually thought it was korean because it was dubbed lol same with dbz and thinking it was american..

Doraemon is very popular in Malaysia. It's sold in Bahasa Malaysia and usually on reruns on tv, along with Crayon Shin Chan. They're dubbed in Bahasa too.
It wasn't broadcast on TV here until 2014 and only on a channel nobody watches

At least for Germany it's mostly that it never ran on any public TV station to begin with. The first time I heard of Doraemon was actually when I started to learn Korean.
