Already aware, thanks Jow Forums.
I like football
Hope you have fun
Any details?

Yes, the sweat faintly tasted of pineapples.
What're you doing for the day? I shall be watching the matches, before you ask.
Fair play. Hope you have a good time.
Preaching to the choir. But this is the comfy GAA Sunday thread. A welcome relief from the threads of the past few days.
>Yes, the sweat faintly tasted of pineapples.
>Why would you punish yourself like this?
There's nothing wrong with liking football. I prefer Hurling and think it's the superior sport, but a lot of it has to do with where you grew up. Even within Hurling counties there are Football areas and vice versa.

>This triggers my autism desu. Should be ashamed.
Going a bit far with the autism there, even by my standards.
>Not a fan of the pineapple?
It has connotations as of late.
>Going a bit far with the autism there
Naming standards are my autism, as I've previously discussed a bit. Hence the nightmare regarding incorrectly named threads.
Must be that German Prussian blood in me that demands organisation and discipline at all times.
You did it in the chat as well last night, holding back the rage was incredibly difficult.

Nope. Planning on purchasing some exquisite pieces of art?

>Planning on purchasing some exquisite pieces of art?
Sure why not
I just remembered that there were some people talking about the cattle market here
Could you see yourself going to one?
>What is this?
No. But I'd love to go. Was thinking of it yesterday when I saw an auction house. Would love to spend some of my crypto fortune on some exquisite pieces of art. Not only is the art beautiful, but it's also a solid investment.
Any Wheel of Time anons here?
Big Cork crowd there.
>cattle market
I've been to cattle auctions (marts) before. Not for a good number of years now though.
Your grandfather was a Nazi?
Wasn't really something you could choose not to be back in the day but it all depends on your definition of the word, is a Wehrmacht conscript a Nazi to you too or just someone forced to fight for something he doesn't believe in?
Do you not miss the meals there?
Would you say it's worth a visit for the quintessential Ireland experience?
>Do you not miss the meals there?
Not particularly. I only ate there once or twice though I recall it being quite good.
>Would you say it's worth a visit for the quintessential Ireland experience?
Probably not. Trip to a bog might be more worthwhile.
>is a Wehrmacht conscript a Nazi to you too
Of course desu (joke).
You've probably mentioned this before but that side of your family is German?
>something he doesn't believe in
I imagine many millions of Germans believed in the ideals espoused by the Nazi party? Wouldn't have voted for them otherwise, or gone out to see them parade and so forth.
Also the argument that there weren't too many other political options at the time, I suppose.
>but that side of your family is German?
No?
The Germans regarded Bourgers similar to Austrians as Germans by blood after 41 it just became a new core part of the Reich and no protectorate or commissariat like France Belgium etc, so the same laws were in effect as in the rest of Germany
>Also the argument that there weren't too many other political options at the time, I suppose
The thing with the Hitler Youth was more that it was the only institution in charge of sports and other activities, so for most, it was almost mandatory to go there if they wanted to do something (which of course was all part of keikaku)
>Trip to a bog might be more worthwhile.
But what are you going to do in a bog on your own?
Isn't that more of a family thing?
Do you ever wish they won?
Why would I?
Do you?
May very well be the best match from the provincial round-robin.
>Germans regarded Bourgers similar to Austrians as Germans by blood after 41
Did Bourgers feel the same way or were they displeased?
>it was almost mandatory to go there
Of course desu. I guess I was more so referring to people in Germany who voted for them and so forth.
>what are you going to do in a bog on your own?

I'd like to try and continue this one until the next expansion is out in a few months time and then we could start a new one. Think Froggy will be changing countries if we do continue, think Prinz is ok but I don't fully recall.

>Some girl from Azur Lane that I don't quite remember the name of. I've posted her a good few times before.
USS Enterprise apparently. Which is odd considering her uniform looks German.
>Thoughts on the match(es)?
The Tipp-Cork match was the highlight of the day for me. Tipp looked dead and buried at half time, yet they came out and performed like a completely different team in the second half. Their experience and individual skill seemed to be on the verge of beating Cork's cohesion and youthful energy until the last few minutes. Were it not for a Nash's excellent save and a squandered shot by McGrath(?), Tipp would have won. A draw was probably the fairest result though. Tipp will be happy to come away with a point whereas Cork will feel like they threw the game away. That said, Tipp absolutely have to win their next two games if they want to stay in contention, whereas Cork have breathing room.
Galway-Kilkenny wasn't as enthralling, but it was an interesting contest nonetheless. Kilkenny are still clearly a potent force, but to only have one score from play in the entire second half shows that Galway are just on another level. They will take some beating this year. Galway-Wexford next weekend will be interesting considering how Wexford stylishly hammered Offaly. If Wexford were to win that, it would be a major upset.
As for the Clare-Waterford game, as I predicted at the start of the season, Waterford are a spent force. Still quite good, but nothing like they were a couple of years ago. Clare's first two matches of the Munster Championship have indicated that they are still a strong team, but I have my doubts as to whether they will be strong enough to finish in the top 3. They do have the potential to upset any of the remaining teams however, especially Tipperary.
All in all, a great day of Hurling action.

Perrin's can be annoying, what book are you on? It's possible you haven't even reached the peak of how awful his arc is.
>Were it not for a Nash's excellent save
Tipp always seem to get goals right when they need them. I said twenty seconds prior to that shot that I could likely see them getting a goal, just seemed like the time. Said the same just before their second goal against Limerick the last day.
>A draw was probably the fairest result
Cork certainly seemed to be the more disappointed side, which is understandable given the lead and how they fell off in the second half.
>Cork have breathing room
Will be interesting to see how the points table looks at the end, how the points from a draw will affect both and if scoring difference will mean much. Also just how valuable home advantage is.
>They will take some beating this year
Think the tag of favourites to retain the All-Ireland fits well then? I didn't pay too much attention to that match. I usually burnout a bit after watching the one but I watched it for a good twenty minutes.
>a great day of Hurling action
Heard Pat Spillane complaining last Sunday that they didn't televise the Tyrone Monaghan match.
Understandable when there are so many much better quality hurling matches going on this year.
>Hurling

Well I guess why not...

I'm not sure exactly what connection SF sees between the legalisation of murder and the reunification of Ireland.
>connection SF sees between the legalisation of murder and the reunification of Ireland
Well I should probably read the article before passing comment, lest I turn into some degenerate headline only read, but I would presume the fact that a majority in the North support abortion and they will now look to the South as being extremely progressive, doing fairly well economically and being inside the EU, which might be enough to swap soft voters towards a United Ireland.
I mean they want a border poll everyday, this isn't much different, but I suppose there is some strand of legitimacy to their claim here.
>a majority in the North support abortion
Lies and slander.
>Tipp always seem to get goals right when they need them
Yeah, they have some of the best goal scorers in the game. If it wasn't for Forde's goal in the first half they might never have found their feet at all. Their biggest problem today was that they weren't getting enough ball (even in the second half) because their half-forwards were getting swamped by the Cork half-back line, so goal opportunities were few and far between.
>Think the tag of favourites to retain the All-Ireland fits well then?
After today's performance, without a doubt. I'm struggling to see any other team that could beat them even on a good day.
>Heard Pat Spillane complaining last Sunday that they didn't televise the Tyrone Monaghan match.
RTÉ have good coverage this season, but having looked at upcoming fixtures, there are some weekends where they clearly lost out. Next weekend they only have one of the 3 Hurling games (Waterford vs. Tipp) and a single Ulster Football match.
>Hurling
>Reeeee
I don't follow.
Oh boy, you would definitely hate the later books then.
That's what I'd have called the result from Friday a week ago.
>Delicious Brown Tennessee
I think I've figured out what makes me so conflicted about the Azur Lane designs. On one hand, they're really nice, clean designs in isolation; the girls look good and the uniforms are well-designed. But when you line them up, there's a sort of a bland, soulless vibe to them. From what I've seen, they're almost always some variation on big anime tiddies in a slutty naval uniform with vague nationalistic elements. While this trait is admittedly common among the foreign KanColle ships, when compared that with the overall variation in both character and uniform design in KanColle, and there difference is stark.
I think there's a connection, but it may be the opposite of that which SF seems to think exists.
Belfast seems really popular. Not sure how I feel about this.
>weren't getting enough ball (even in the second half) because their half-forwards were getting swamped by the Cork half-back line
I'm far from a tactical expert such as yourself, but I believe they said during the analysis at full time that Tipp moved their half-forwards closer to midfield during the second half which gave their full-forward line more space to run onto the ball when it was belted up to them (as that's their style as opposed to the Cork way of shorter and more accurate passing)? Maybe I misheard things, could be very wrong desu.
Shall blame my poor hurling lineage in comparison for my lack of knowledge.
>Waterford vs. Tipp
Home match for Waterford? Where is that going to be on? Not Thurles I presume and Cork will be busy.
>only have one of the 3 Hurling games
They can only televise two matches anyways right?
>I don't follow
Capitalisation of something that shouldn't have a capital. Shall report you to the relevant authorities if this continues.
>almost always some variation on big anime tiddies in a slutty naval uniform with vague nationalistic elements
There are a few ironing board type characters that I'm sure Prinz would like, but you're probably fairly accurate in that description.
>sort of a bland, soulless vibe to them
I imagine that's down to the smaller community and our lack of knowledge of their personalities, right?
Plenty of shitty looking KanColle characters but they grow immensely when you throw in the years fan memes, personalities, comics and so on.
*years of
>Belfast seems really popular.
>822 images on Danbooru
Wow, that's unheard of for an Azur Lane character. I wonder what's driving that?
>I'm far from a tactical expert such as yourself
You severely overestimate me.
>but I believe they said during the analysis at full time that Tipp moved their half-forwards closer to midfield during the second half which gave their full-forward line more space to run onto the ball when it was belted up to them
You're correct, and it worked - more or less. From what I could see, it drew the Cork half-back line out which created more space for the Tipp full forwards to contest and win the ball. However, the Cork half-back still posed problems from the Tipp half-forwards, which forced the Tipp goal-keeper to alternate between short puck-outs and driving it down the pitch to the full-forwards. Definitely the a great tactical decision by the Tipp manager at half time though.
>Home match for Waterford? Where is that going to be on?
Limerick.
>They can only televise two matches anyways right?
Yep, but they have none of the Saturday matches.
>I imagine that's down to the smaller community and our lack of knowledge of their personalities, right?
I would imagine so. I won't deny that there's probably bias at play here.
This is true desu. Fucking shite movie. That bugman fat cunt faggot Brendan lives in Howth and I will rape his dog in front of him.

Because muh body muh choice, sweaty.

>that's unheard of for an Azur Lane character
Well there are a few others with that many images for them, namely Atago and Takao (prefer) come to mind.
>Limerick
Makes sense I guess, both knacker strongholds. Am sure Waterford will feel right at home.
>they have none of the Saturday matches
Ahh yes, forgot these were a thing. GAA GO has all the matches with commentary, I'm guessing?
€140 for the year which might be a decent deal if you are big into your sport. Maybe it is only accessible outside of Ireland though, to ensure people here buy Sky Sports, but I guess you could use a VPN.
>I won't deny that there's probably bias at play here
It's fine desu. I always welcome less competition for top tier ships.
Nevada and Tennessee a cute.

Kinda weird how easy you lads give passports away
My mum was born in Belfast but didn't live there, I've lived in England yet it cost me 60 quid after the brexit vote just to retain my EU movement rights in case I ever fancy it.
Crazy how people spend thousands on this shit yet Ireland will give you it for 60 quid
>Kinda weird how easy you lads give passports away
Hence why I would like for us to begin taxing non-residents in some form.
>my husband
Are you a woman now desu? How does that make you feel?
Terrible idea lad, America does this and it's an absolute nightmare.
How can you tax people for a country they're not living in and taking services from. You're also penalising genuine Irish lads and women who move away to work elsewhere.
You guys should probably tighten up the rules though.
>Not sure if this is CK2 or reality
I'll leave that for you to decide.
>taxing non-residents in some form
How could you tax them if they don't live here? Revoke their citizenship if they don't pay?
>Are you a woman now desu?
Yes. And a massive slag.
>How does that make you feel?
I'll give it a go. Didn't have very many heirs last time so I hope I can have at least children and retain them. Then I'll ally with every country and conquer the world. It's a flawless plan.
>You're also penalising genuine Irish lads and women who move away to work elsewhere
Arguably we have a major cultural issue in this country of far too much emigration resulting in a lack of skills in some areas. Believe this is the case in nursing with people graduating here and heading to the UK.
Think if people are educated for free under our university system they should either work here for a couple of years or else be required to pay back some of their tuition if they do decide to leave.
Not set on these ideas, just think we could look at them and see how feasible they are.
>How can you tax people for a country they're not living in and taking services from
Why not? You are essentially taking a service or perk from the country in being able to travel around the EU. We could also open the ability to vote in certain elections and perhaps referenda, offering yet another perk for paying tax, provided we also tighten some of the rules up for applying as well.
>How could you tax them if they don't live here?
Well refusing them the right to vote if they haven't paid would be one way. As I said last night, it could perhaps be an optional thing. Pay and you get some perks such as being able to vote for various different things, or else don't and you can't.
Might even throw in a few GAA tickets every year to attend their counties games. Would work cultural wonders.
Yanks have a system, don't know how it works but perhaps we could use it as a reference.
>Revoke their citizenship if they don't pay?
Don't think that would be too feasible.
>And a massive slag
Should join the nuns desu. Take a vow of celibacy to correct you hedonistic ways.
>It's a flawless plan
