Hey indians on Jow Forums. What is the best way to become friends with an indian? He was introduced to my class 3 weeks ago but he rarely talks and usually sits alone. Any idea?

I just don't want him to feel left out, he is the only indian in my class so i thought he might have trouble making friends

Try to start slowly maybe? Not sure. Ask him the time or when the class start or something simple and go from there. Good luck user!

Indians are very conscious of social hierarchy just like down syndrome people, if he feels you are low in the order your offer of companionship will be considered an insult and he might attack or kill you

He's shy, really shy. Just approach him when he's alone in his free time, like when he's sitting alone outside or something and start talking to him. Ask about which region is he from, his ethnic group and how's india like(specially this), say you like india and all that. Than find something you 2 have incommon, animu vidya etc and chat about that. Invite him to eat out and hang out
