Business idea: remove all weekends.
Hear me out.
All of your weekends are removed, and instead you receive the same equivalent total number of days off as annual leave IN ADDITION to your usual annual leave entitlement. So that's 104 days plus your standard annual leave entitlement (let's say 24 days). Therefore you have 128 days of annual leave to use.
No more than three weeks of leave can be used at any given time, and businesses have discretion to not allow more than X number of employees from each team/department off at the same time.
Benefits:
-Toilberg is happy because there is no given time when work has nobody (or very few staff) working.
-All businesses (including local) enjoy week-long instead of a one or two day rush.
-Employees enjoy greater flexibility.
-Employees' time off is generally quieter because not everyone has the same time off.
-Binge-drinking culture is disincentivised as not everyone has the same time off.
-People who enjoy set traditions (such as going to church on Sundays) can continue to do so.
