This is nothing wrong with wanting your children to be the primary benefactors of your achievements in life. The issue is when you treat family as though it’s your ONLY obligation to anyone ever instead of just the most important one. You should still feel some responsibility to give a little back to your community if living and operating in that community has helped you achieve success.
