Do French cars have a bad reputation in your country? In Lithuania, there's is a stereotype that they break down very often, and their repair is complicated. Don't know how much of this can be applied to newer French cars.
Do French cars have a bad reputation in your country? In Lithuania...
>french car: shitty electronics
>italian car: shitty reliability
>german car: expensive maintenance
>brittish car: all the above
Lol we don't have baguettemobiles
Yes and if you tax european cars, it's fucking good for France cause US isn't a market for french car brands while it's a fcking big for Germany/italy/UK.
Sometimes everything is perfect and the stars are aligned, like with the Peugeot 206. Easy to fix, cheap to maintain and reliable. 206 is one the best cars the last decades.
Le Car was a thing for a while
Funny to see R5 in old american movies
they have a reputation of being comfortable. you buy one and drive very comfortably for about a year and then throw it away because the odds are by then it's broken down beyond repair
I don't own a car, but when I was getting my license, I was asked what kind of car I'd like to drive.
I said "Erm, maybe a Citroen? My neighbour had one and it was nice" and got called a fag.
Not a god reputation, I'd say.
All cars are shit except:
Volvo
SAAB
Audi
BMW
Mercedes
SKODA(best price/quality ratio, unlike VW and Seat)
Good list.
All except Dacia are shit. Seriously. Why would you pay anything more? People even say they are somewhat reliable.
>no Japanese cars
yeah it's the poor people's car
Dacia are basically old Renault
It's basically 15 year old proved and reliable Renault tech outsourced to Romania.
They are very hit and miss. Especially 2005-2015 models are very often a miss.
206 and Twingo however are still around a lot.
You forgot Toyota.
Is it? It’s a family car over here. French make a lot of stationwagons. Other brands not so much or like Audi and Volvo they cost 1/4th house
>Volvo is a luxury car in The Netherlands
Things I will never understand. Here, even students can afford a V90.
This is the best car ever produced.
Renault Twingos are good, very reliable
They are considered a less flashy alternative to BMW and Mercedes for people with money that according to protestant culture don’t want to look like they’re flaunting their wealth nor look like immigrants.
Audi too qualifies for this, but is still a bit more immigrantish
French cars died in 1940 now it's the first car you get for 800€ that spit all the smoke
My parents used to have a 2004 Peugeot 407
It was shitty and electronic broke down so often we gave up on even trying to repair it
Not really common here, Peugeot is available but only in very few cities.
Citroën is non existent here.
Renault is quite popular, merci twingo.
Yes but only the older ones and sport versions
I dont like these new little bubbly faggy shit like Yaris.
their cars are quite boring, but they have decent vans, suvs and pickup trucks
