I mean, i understand dialects, but spoken danish has NO resemblance to the written language. Was it always like this?
Why don't danes pronounce words as they are written?

Take the scentance "jag skall gå hem".
In swedish its pronounced
"Ijahg ska gå hemm"
In norweigan
"Jey skoll ga hjem"
In danish:
"Yæsgugujæm"
Basically during the time of the Hanseatic League Danish got cucked hard by Low German, some linguistics compare that to the influence (Norman) French had on English but they don't get this taught in school.
Ah, so danes are mutts?
Didn't we establish last year, that Swedes are the most like Germans.
Same is true for Swedish by the way, but to a lesser degree, obviously. There are some examples where Low German borrowings even displaced their own cognates, lmao.
danish pronounciation didn't come from hanseatic influence, only german loanwords did.
keep telling yourself that, hanz
Danish: "Jeg skal gå hjem"
Swedish: "Ja skarl gå-ah hjem-ah"
Norwegian: same as Swedish, but with less accent.
keep being obsessed, mohammed
Swedish:
"Röd gröt med grädde"
Norweigan
"Raud gröy med flödi"
Danish:
"Ræuhægrauæömijflauhö"
danish:

Maybe the faeroiæeise ugly ð
