What city people do at their spare time in different countries? I have lived my whole life in a farm and at spare time i mostly shoot empty beer cans or lift weights.

fuck women from all over the world all day long

dine at trendy restaurants, socialize at cool pubs, attend concerts, go to indoor parties, go to block parties, go to beach parties, play team sports, and so much more

I have fucked like 3 girls in my life and one of them is my wife now.

oh ok

Attached: 1484343880608.gif (312x281, 755K)

Also, hackathons are a big thing in my city. There are dozens of 'em every day.

Attached: ff_hackathons_f.jpg (660x655, 118K)

I don't see anything wrong with that. Maybe it does not sound cool but i am happy with my wife.

How you can be sane when you have to socialize with people all the time? Don't you miss nature, forest and animals? This was not meant as an insult.

How old are you?

I shitpost all day and get drunk

i was just memeing
wish i had a wife

33.

Well done for not getting memed into thinking you need to fuck 10+ women or you're not a real man because TV says so

When did you get married?
Are you a farmer? Do you grow your own food?

Shitpost, work out, read, watch videos, jack off

>How you can be sane when you have to socialize with people all the time?
of course a Finn would say this :^)
Can't say I miss nature and animals 2bh. I've spent literally my entire life in dense cities. I've gone camping with friends at national parks where there's an abundance of natural fauna and it's been alright, although I find it gets dull by the third day.

Some people do, but most really like the city and the people.
It isn't THAT awesome, tho. Having fun in the big city can be quite expensive

Yes i am a farmer and grown most of my food.I sell most of my products and the stuff i cant grown i have to buy. I was married at 25.

What do you grow and what do you do in winter?
Do you work alone in the farm?

The closest people living to me are like 1km away. I can go at their door in the middle of night if i need help with something and they are always willing to help me like i am willing to help them. It feels like people living in cities are surrounded by people but don't have real connection to them.

I grow potatoes, wheat and "hay" for animals. I have cows and some chickens and apple trees and stuff for personal use.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages 2bh.
Also, idk about other places, but people here, at least in the residential areas are all super friendly.
Also, unlike rural areas, people in cities work from morning to evening. So, they don't get much time to socialize with their neighbors.

I like to go to my family farm or visit my friends who live in a more rural town near by.

I became really good at the art of split wood using an axe in the last month.

Everything is nature

People are always friendly here too when i visit cities. There is just no connection with people there. Here in rural parts we don't really have a work time. Work is done when it is needed to be done and if you "neighbour" needs help after your work you sure will help him.

Europe and NA is usually individualistic whereas Asia is collectivist. So, the difference is not that much BTW rural and urban people. But I get what you're saying.
The urban people here are becoming more individualistic so, its inevitable.
People wagecuck from 9 am to 6pm. Usually live in rented houses and keep moving to different houses every now and then. So, there's no real connection.
Do you live a comfy life in terms of €€€?

You are correct. I meant a system that fixes itself and grows bigger at same time. Trees drop their leaves at soil so the soil can get nutrients from them and the trees can grow bigger because of the nutrients the soil provides. In a city a building wont fix itself by dropping bricks in the soil.

I am not rich by any "western" standards but i live really happy life. I also don't care about the latest iphones and stuff like that so it might be a part of it. I can pay all my bills at time and never have to worry about those.

>In a city a building wont fix itself by dropping bricks in the soil.
Same way as leaves require bacteria to decompose, city require humans to destroy old buildings and build new ones. By the way, there were times when fallen trees didn't rot at all.

I once met a dude from Brazil and he was really nice guy but way too social. He talked so much i almost lost my mind, Also the things he was talking about had no value. He was just talking because he could. After a while i did not pay any attention what he was saying even it might had been something important that time.

Fuck all citybois, go to museums, eat junkfood, do nightwalks to admire architecture, browse the internet

Please tell me about that. I know when it is really hot leaves wont rot but it would be a pleasure to learn more about this.

phenomena.nationalgeographic.com/2016/01/07/the-fantastically-strange-origin-of-most-coal-on-earth/
I just want to say that self-regulation isn't as elegant as you think it is. Hell, nature almost committed suicide once.

Always wanted to live on a farm and grow my own food.
Nice read. Got any more such articles?

Thank you interesting read. But it seems like the trees have gotten smarter by now unlike most people living in city.

>Got any more such articles?
I didn't even read this particular article. Just googled for the formation of coal. I'm sure you can find more somewhere.
It's not about trees, it's about the evolution of bacteria that changed the planet. Same goes for humans. Cities are our way to adapt. They as natural as anything else.

You will hate the farm "redneck" life if you have lived your whole life in a big city and used to have people around you all the time telling you when to work and wake up. This is no means antisocial life because you need your neighbours to survive (and shoot empty beer cans). But i courage every man to move out from city and start to grown at least some plants to eat.
I have never been in a museum but i would like to visit one someday.

Depends on person, I just play my hobbies a and study to get wives

I have to disagree with the natural part of big human settlements. Sure it is natural because it happens in nature so you are correct there. But the thing is no animal or plant cant live in area where they don't have enough food or space to live so everything has to be in balance. In cities the food is brought there with trains and trucks and they would die with no imported food.

I hook up with local boys and have my mouth and ass gaped and filled by the end of the week.

>In cities the food is brought there with trains and trucks and they would die with no imported food.
Ants, termites and bees have to bright food from outside to their hives. Even cells in your own body rely on constant food supply from the outside. What's the difference?

What kind of hobbies? Here people in cities play ice hockey and stuff like that. Also your John Deeres are beautiful.

Why you dont go to nearest town and hang out at gas station or drive around bar 30 times in row?

The difference is there in no need for technology to an ant nest or beehive to survive. Also they do work for the forest while they do their thing. If you remove bees you will pretty sure remove many types of flowers too.

Cities are good for dense populations of services and non farming related occupations.

I just rather shoot those empty beer cans. I am also talking real rural places not small cities. We don't even have a bar here.

Technology is just another way of adaptation. Beavers using trees to build dams, people use metals to build cities. The only difference is speed.

Eastern Finland?

People should not rely too much on technology. My equipment has been broken a couple of times and it is really hard work to feed the animals manually. You are correct again with the speed. But it might be also a bad thing. You can't predict how nature works and sometimes you just have to make something fast. Don't get me wrong with that. I think that every tool should be made to last from father to son but with nature it is different.

Please, replace your picture with a decently-sized one.

Also I use my computer. Doesn't matter if I'm in the city, a rural area or small towns.

Thank you. Have this cat in exchange.

>People should not rely too much on technology
Kinda late for that thought. Technology isn't something new we are using today, like smartphones or robots. Every single tool you are using is technology. You clothes, your medication and even the food you growing is technology.

I shoot empty beer cans and build electronics stuff while occasionally shitposting on Jow Forums. so good to be a farmer

Correct again at some things. But if you get an apple from a tree without doing nothing but laying under it then there is no technology used. The hard part is to grow those apples for whole population with no technology. I also like to talk with you.

What do you grown or do you have animals? I bet you cant never defeat me at shooting beer cans. I even let you choose the rifle (no shotguns too easy).

Farming as a process is a technology. People started to doing that something around 12000 years ago. Crops you are using are not natural. They were changed through artificial selection since people started cultivating them. You can't escape technology because it's in every aspect of your life.

I would not call that technology but rather evolution. I also grown some experimental stuff with just basic tools for my own hobby and it seems like those plants grow much better when no artificial fertilizers or stuff is used. It just takes too much work to make money from it.

Technology is a natural part of human evolution. We simply found a better way to collect data than DNA, that's it.

Correct again but remember if technology and humans die the evolution (nature) will still continue its work. Humans are not an necessary part of evolution (nature). Plants and animals will adapt to their living conditions even if there is not a single human around. Also please could you post some Russian gopnik music so i could drink beer and listen that.

>Humans are not an necessary part of evolution (nature).
We definitely are, same as any other specie.
>Also please could you post some Russian gopnik music
Sorry, I don't listen any music like that.

I fuck my cat and dodge bullets

>We definitely are, same as any other specie.
No we are the top predators so every other plant, animal and fish would benefit if humans just died off. Sure there would be some next apex predator after that. You are totally right that human is part of the nature and should not promote himself over it but should respect it like as a friend.
>Sorry, I don't listen any music like that.
Something not too melancholy from Russia would do fine.

>so every other plant, animal and fish would benefit if humans just died off
That's simply wrong. Every single domesticated specie won an evolutionary lottery. They no longer need to struggle for survival - humans do everything for them. There are 19 billions chickens in the world. It's called symbiosis and it happens all the time.

At my farm i only have to feed chickens because they are in a trapped environment and i collect eggs from them. I bet not many foxes or other predators who would like to eat chickens would like to face a full grown rooster if there is other food available. Also the cows just chill at their land until someone wanders too far and touches the electric fence and goes back to the herd. I bet if there were bulls too no predator would like to go near the cow herd. It feels like those animals would survive much better than humans if humans did not have technology.

>It feels like those animals would survive much better than humans
I didn't talk about that. What I said that being domesticated by humans is a great evolutionary advantage.

I agree at certain point but you can see how even humans are becoming too domesticated. I know a dude who could not even kill a fish when we were fishing. He was from a city and never had killed any animal for food or for other reason. People should never forget that they are also part of the nature and domestication is not always a good thing.

>humans are becoming too domesticated.
Humans can't be domesticated by definition.
As for killing animals, we have special people to do that. Diversification of responsibilities is a key factor for multicellular organisms, so our civilization follow the same laws.

I play vidya desu, I don't have a lot of free time as I spend most of my time studying or spending time in public transport (2 1/2 - 4 hours a day)

When living in a farm you just have to kill animals now and then. It is part of life. People in big cities have grown too far from nature and never seen a dead animal except in the store at the meat section. They have no idea where those animals come and how they live. This means humans are becoming really domesticated like those cows. There is no need for bulls because there is no predators eating the cows. I know i don't need my shotgun but i still like to keep it around when driving around the farm. It is like being the rooster or the bull of my herd.

>When living in a farm you just have to kill animals now and then.
Yes, because that's your social role. You act like diversification of labour is a new thing, but I already said that it isn't. It's fundamental for our society and multicellular life itself.

I go home and sit in my apartment because I'm tired from work.
Sometimes I bike around and shout at people, especially tourists, for being in my way. Sometimes I walk around downtown and buy underwhelming food or an overpriced drink.
Sometimes I go to a sports group and play whatever with random people. I have a group I regularly play with. Has every color of the rainbow on it. A black, a muslim, a SEA, had a korean but he moved back home, has a half korean, a mexican, an indian, used to have a puerto rican. Once in a while there's another white person.
Sometimes I go to stores and buy stuff. I could also go to clubs, movies, or sports if I wanted, but I don't. I study in coffee shops a lot. Go to restaurants, read a book and eat. Make plans to travel to other cities. Go on dates. Typical shit I guess.

Sorry i am drunk and maybe missed something you wrote i did not wanted to sound rude. I am not a slaughter so killing really is not my thing and i hate killing. Sometimes you just have to do it. Like if your dog is old and sick and you know it his time to go i rather put a bullet to his head than take him to a "doctor" to get killed by some nasty poison. What i am saying every man should know how life and dead works. The more a man sees dead the less he wants to do it but he is still able to kill if needed.

Why do you shout at people? This is the one thing i don't get with city people everyone is in a hurry and mad for what? When i see my "neighbours" or some randoms maybe once in a week i always chat for a while and act nicely.

>why shout at people
They're fat and stupid and in my way. You won't believe the kind of shit I have to deal with when a herd of midwesterners comes in and acts like the place is their fucking living room, stand around staring at their phones or shouting at their fat relatives to hurry up to the restaurant before it runs out of fries. They're a nuisance and a menace. Stand in the bike lane like it's a fucking sidewalk. Stand all around the sidewalk taking up the whole width like people don't have places to go. I am angry. I got cut off by a fatass on a rent-a-bike today to enter the bike lane, he almost ran me into the curb if I hadn't braked last minute when he swooped in, and he peddled slow as shit, there was no room to pass as it was a separated lane so concrete barriers to either side. And another stupid tourist on a rent a bike with a fucking giant luggage in the basket, weaving all over the road, stupid bitch probably couldn't even see in front of her, fucking menace.
t. tourist-centric city resident who is ANGERY. I don't know who is worse, the midwesterners or the country yokels who drive in and shit the place up meandering great old pickup trucks all over the lanes wandering around lost and not understanding what a bike lane is or that there are people around and they need to LOOK.

That post is so American. Everyone is on your way because you own the ways and streets right? Also a city is like a living room for people who lives in a city. I am not here to mock you but you live around people like you who are in a hurry and thinks everyone is a fat slob too. Just please next time you see some fat slob blocking your way try to say something like "sorry could you move". World would be so much better place if people would show some respect to others around. Also i did not mean this as an insult.

I didn't expect a reasonable and polite reply to my whingy rant.
2beehonest I just wanna go fast. I don't want to be nice to them, I don't want to be polite. I'm tired and annoyed and want to take out my rage on fat midwestern tourists because they irritate me. This is america, not canada, god damn it. You go to nyc for example and part of the charm is the war between the pedestrians and the cars, the pedestrians and the other pedestrians, and the cars and the cyclists. It's fun to be hateful. It's outright american. Rather than tipping your hat to people in the street it's more delightful to flip them off.

Dude i am not Canadian. If you had ever been actually violent and hateful you would know there is nothing funny in it. I have been stabbed and i have stabbed people and every time persons involved were ashamed and really sorry about it. Me too. People try to act hard but when the reality hits them they change to nice people or die. Just please try to act nice to people around you and they will do the same someday. I know this sounds gay and homo but your life is the people you are surrounded with. If you are surrounded with shit your life is shit too also nobody will kill the nice flower growing in a pile of shit.

Who else is awkwardly in between a city and small town here? I've lived in both big cities and tiny towns and this is neither. 30 years ago or so this place was a very small town without much to do, but the population has slowly risen over time which brought all the fast food and retail shit like that on high traffic roads but still not much in the ways of entertainment. There's a movie theater, a bowling alley or two, a museum and library, not sure if there's actually a bar or nightclub anywhere but there is a church every minutes walking distance. There is no "night life" and this place is still stuck in its small town bible belt ways in many aspects. To get anywhere you need a car, very few people actually walk places, and it's about an hour 1 way to a bigger city and an hour another way to the country full of wilderness and a state park.

You know this board does have flags, yes?
You're perfectly reasonable and correct. It's a disgusting urge in city dwellers to be bitter cunts to each other and it's perversely delightful, I apologize for my wretchedness but I really do enjoy it. Because in a city you are just about anonymous and can do such things. No one goes on Jow Forums to be a nice person. If I were in a small town I'd be much more polite. This is the human condition and it's always been so, and I should be ashamed but I enjoy it all the same.
>fin admits to stabbing people
Speaking of national stereotypes. You're a nice reasonable person though, I apologize for being such an awful dick. Perhaps I will think of you next time and shout less at these imbeciles.
Sometimes I am genuinely nice and helpful to tourists, sometimes. But not whilst I am commuting.
My hometown was like that and I despised it. It's the worst of both worlds.

Cities are overrated desu. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going to the city and seeing the sights, but I can't stand living in them. I enjoy being close enough to the city that I can reap its benefits, but far enough away that I can still enjoy my comfy lifestyle without having to deal with city shit.

I really try to be a nice person even when i post here. I don't see any benefits for being an anonymous cunt. I respect your words really. Americans don't say stuff like that often. You seem like a person who will make the the world a better place day by day if you just use your brain and forget that useless hate.
