AND FUCKING THIS
Looks good
You can't.
its cheap and you can put lots of people there
Mall at ground floor, public transit at ground floor, public transit actually works because density, you can get to work in a few minutes, you cant hear your neighbours because the walls are thick concrete, your friends probably live in a nearby complex, cheap shit nearby, no need to own car, shall i go on?
At least it got colors to it
no
whole lot better than this shit
horrible and depressing
this is why no building in your town should be taller than the church
t. cityfag
Have you been to Vancouver? It looks exactly the same. You're western now.
Agreed, slav buildings anytime over this shit
Vancouver btfo
It's actually extremely easy to defend this shit
literally the only >but people have about commieblocks are the overall aesthetics of them or lack of thereof.
Commieblocks ranging from 4 to 10 floors are literally the most optimal housing for city dwelling folk when you look at it from density/available space point of view.
Socialist urban planning is to this day unmatched when it comes to providing not only housing but also living amenities like healthcare, schools, kindergarten and leisure/entertainment space.
If I had to rank the places you can live in I would go
cottage/farmhouse >>> urban commieblock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> suburban
so your town can be filled with salarymen in cars from the countryside
brilliant
not to mention that you've never lived there and have little way of knowing how it feels
Nigger, most of Vancouver is burbs. Only downtown has high rises, like any other North American city.
You think that's bad OP?
This shit makes my palms sweaty
in Canada blocks are pretty common.
I don't know about common but they do exist. Still we're not packed in like sardines living on top of each other like pic related
grove street, home
B-but commieblocks are so much nicer than the suburbs
found the countryfag
Feels good to breath fresh air
Commieblocks are superior
Leave it to the Russians to develop a form of architectural rape.
They build the exact same shit in Moscow now. The price is insane
What do the interiors on new commieblocks look like?
>live in the burbs
>wake up at 6
>get in your car and drive 1 hour to go to work
>get in your car and drive 20 minutes to get food
>get in your car to get your kid to the local pool
being a slave to the automobile must be fun
What neighborhoods I wanna streetview them
as long as it is maintained, plumbing electricity and heating is fine, then there is no problem.
Living in the highest floor must be the shit, I'd make a paper plane everyday and throw it.
Absolutely disgusting. Why are straight people so fucking entitled, arrogant and selfish, thinking they can keep shitting out kids like there's no tomorrow, and somehow they'll be able to provide them with a good life or a future on a planet that has fucking finite resources?
Like a swarm of foul locusts, they keep spreading, consuming everything in their path, leaving nothing behind but total destruction and a bare wasteland.
But. Locust swarms never last forever. Sooner or later the food runs out, and they start dropping like flies. And with them, die their precious young. Honestly, I can't wait for it.
>posting bad looking photo from Hong Kong
>Calls it China.
Brithrates for all whites anywhere are negative ya know

Once it's done it won't look that bad.
>An hour is a long drive
I hate cityfags so much
>wasting 2 hours of your day in a car
because this is a good thing
Great, now we'll just have to wait for Asians and Africans to get the memo. But the time they do, it'll be too late. I honestly can't understand why having 1 or 2 kids isn't enough. Why???
Forced sterilization needs to be a thing
>A 45 minute drive is a deal breaker I'd rather live in a smog filled filthy shithole
I cannot imagine how fucking worthless your time has to be that you consider wasting two hours every day at work youre not getting paid for (which is precisely what commuting is) not a big deal
>cities are smog filled shitholes
vancouver's pollution index is 25
That's less than many smaller towns and certainly isn't smog filled, not to mention that you can purify air in this day and age
But enjoy wasting 2 hours driving
Well, get this, to live in the suburbs you need more to make more money annually than some loser working a menial office job and paying for his $900 a month apartment in some depressing city shithole not fit to raise a family. An hour drive is a very cheap price to pay in comparison.
Best city in Canada
>smog filled filthy shithole
Rural areas these days aren't much better since factories are relocating to cheaper place which is farther from cities.
>Google Vancouver smog
Brilliant. Also do you even own a car? You can't drive it will all that traffic. Don't tell me you take the subway everwhere
Maybe in America
We need a step up on urban design education.
The ideal is about 5 stories. But varied building heights and uses are what give a city (or village) its charm.
Stop arguing about "commieblocks vs suburbs" when the ideal is in between. It's also more practical.
Small streets, allow cars but every other mode of transport, sidewalks, different uses for the buildings, some good lighting/benches/trees and you've got a cozy neighborhood.
what are you talking about?
here you have private parking space, you can park you car and work on it.
having private yard, you can plant trees and turn in to llittle paradise
It's ok not liking private houses but you don't need to shit on them.
Agreed but We're never going back to that
>An hour drive is a very cheap price to pay in comparison.
Like I said I cannot imagine how fucking worthless your free time has to be to think like that.
So really your shitty excuse of "lol ure poor XD" doesn't work out bub.
I'd kill if I could have a 30 hour work week instead of 40 while you so graciously accept additional 10 hours every week you're not even fucking paid for. Talk about wageslaving.
I don't live in Vancouver, I don't own a car.
I live in downtown Toronto, my place of work is ~1200 m from where I live, I use my legs or the bus. I make 98k/year before taxes. Good luck getting that arrangement in the countryside because you can't.
wish i took pictures of commie block during my china trip last time.
>The ideal is about 5 stories.
>Stop arguing about "commieblocks vs suburbs" when the ideal is in between.
commieblocks are usually 4-6 stories tall.
4 is the most you can get away with without an elevator.
>downtown Toronto
Is subway system decent?
It works, it's a bit small, but it's nowhere near the level of service that the Tokyo system or the HK MTR boasts.
But why are you so mad about countryside folks.
you fucking retard.
Not evreyone want to live in a city, get over it.
Just be a NEET senpai if you hate ambition or working so much. Disgusting lazy peasant.
>I don't own a car
>I make 98k annually after taxes
lmao okay bud. Toronto is a fucking Shithole. You couldn't pay me to live there and the smog in summer is unbearable. It takes me 25 minutes to from Whitby to the Don Valley Parkway and then another 10 minutes to get to work. It's not that bad and I'm making as much a you are.
>Tokyo system or the HK MTR boasts.
They are on whole another level. I would prob think Toronto system to be decent if it's quality is on par with DC metro or so.
I'm not mad, i'm simply pointing out the flaws in his supposed superiority
You do know the Tokyo system is the most complex metropolitan subway system in the world right?
yes, gotta set the bar for "decent" pretty high
>ure a lazy peasant if you don't chose to spend 2 hours a day in a cage and not be paid for it
>Driving two hours is a deal breaker to live somewhere better
Literal peasant mentality
meant for
>I define "living better" by having less free time but a larger house made of cardboard, toothpicks and vinyl siding because that's luxury in america
You're right. I wish I lived in the opulence of superior Polish commie bloc Surrounded by asshole cityfags, concrete, shit and piss.
and I wished I could earn the opportunity to be stuck two hours a day in the opulence of superior metal&glass cage sorrounded by my fellow wageslaves, fumes and asphalt
Letting commies rule architecture and city planning after the war was a mistake.
I wouldn't be so sure. We're never building with that aesthetic and materials again, but we're building it in form, increasingly.
As energy costs increase (especially as the developing world grows AND uses more energy per capita) it's an increasingly-wise investment to build non-sprawl stuff.
People are finding all kinds of ways to build it. These townhomes use recycled shipping containers. Keeps costs low in a place where the land value is super expensive.
Do you really believe that having doctor, grocery shop or sometimes even job within 20 minutes of walking is a bad thing?
