NASA says now that Antarctic ice sheets are disappearing at alarming rate, which doesnt sound so bad by itself but it will also mean that the melting ice turns into water and the water goes somewhere and that place in somewhere just happens to be the oceans.
This will lead to rise of sea water levels and what once was above sea level, will someday be below sea level. For example country of Netherlands.
