Lived there for five years, Charlotte is the worst of the well known cities in NC. It's not much more than suburbs and office buildings. There are no remarkable restaurants or any interesting places to go. Friday nights are absolute hell with all the drunk suburb normies in vineyard vines crowding the streets. It's perfect for people who have no desire in life past reproduction and not dying.

I don't really have a pc now cause i'm in grad school (only a laptop). My computer back home I built in 2010 so it's a wee bit outdated

if it has 2500k or something you're still ok, you could get a new gpu for it though

I can't even remember the CPU now, it's so old. It was like a Phenom black X4 or something.

I haven't played games in quite a while, but I have the urge to game because I wasted like 300 bucks on warhammer 40k models I probably won't ever get to. I figured getting back into video games might satisfy the urge

you could look for used 83xx,(fx-8320,8350) if you motherboard supports am3+
30-60 bucks for the cpu no more
and then get a 1060 6gb and you're good

shiet is that all it takes? my mobo is am3, graphics card is always the most expensive part though

8350 was decent, now its getting better for gayming because more modern titles are starting to use more cores
