wow, looks like China, how can Ukraine afford so tall buildings?

RRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE

Attached: 1528922262175.jpg (2000x1125, 553K)

where the fuck do you want to live then? american style suburbs?

People, not profits.

>american style suburbs?

More like Dutch/Scandinavian suburbs with semi-detached or small detached suburbs.

It's cheaper to build this way...
Construction companies buy a small piece of land and squeeze the last dollar out of it by building so tall and tight - maximum amount of apartments.

reeee

Attached: wroclaw.jpg (1200x899, 412K)

really? I thought skyscrapers are pretty expensive to build, you need some special technologies to build tall

how much does 1 m2 cost in these blocks in Ukraine?

I don't know how expensive are these high rise technologies, but they surely compensate on the quality of materials. Because it's fucking shit.

$600-700

this must be a joke otherwise I'm moving to Ukraine

>tfw no cheap affordable housing

That looks like a 19th century style city layout though which is an improvement. The buildings could be prettier though.

yikes

i want to live in paradise...

and FUCK DENMARK!

Attached: spardee.jpg (1588x1233, 322K)

The city plan in OP's picture is nice and efficient and reminds me of 19th century city planning. The buildings need pretty trim around the windows and cuter roofs though.

reminds me a bit of Paris or Madrid

looks okay I guess, give it rooftops with green gardens and we future nao

>in Poland they sell apartments in tall buildings for 2k euros/sqm because "muh tall buildings must be more expensive as we use space technologies"

>in Ukraine they sell affordable apartments for people with low income in tall skyscrapers with great view

Those are ugly.

welcome to Poland

Attached: Wilanów.jpg (2176x1220, 510K)

Well, that's the cheapest variant, as they call it "econom class" here. And without any work done, bare walls.

>Those are ugly.

And insanely expensive at the same time.

I love cuckpitalism

>And without any work done, bare walls.

This is a standard here too. But you pay 2k eur/sqm here for that. And I'm talking about lower middle class housing like

I like the layout with courtyards. The facades of the buildings are bleh though. Also, I don't see any shops or mixed use buildings so that neighbourhood will just be a lame ass bedroom community.

tbf it would look a lot better if the Germans hadn't wiped it off the face of the Earth

true

>Also, I don't see any shops or mixed use buildings

shops are in the first floor obviously

I didn't notice any in the other pics.

>I didn't notice any in the other pics.

I gave you a google street view link

Luckily I live in an area where the buildings are covered with red tiles so it doest looks that bad. Shit still looks bad but on an acceptable level.

why is real estate in western Europe so cheap

>tfw you realize gommieblocks were designed by some westoid faggot
It's just like with communism itself, ruskies merely spreaded it, but the source of this cancer was in the W*st

>Socialism sucks because you don't own anything and have to share your home, your mode of transport, and everything else in your li-

What's that thing on the top of each house?

During communism you had to pay upfront for an apartment and then wait 5-10-?? years before they give you one somewhere in a random building on a random floor. Such joy and happiness.

the shared economy is literally what marx meant when he said that capitalism will evolve into a communal ownership model; capitalism inherently is in the motions of making itself irrelevant
>if capitalist free markets drive costs down, and by extension purchasing power up, eventually everything becomes so cheap that everyone will own the low cost machines involved in society's function, and the "free" stuff they make
he was however writing from within his own times, when the working class owned effectively nothing except clothes and cooking utensils, and having virtually no rights he did not predict that wages would increase for the workers
>as democracy became the main political engine for European countries and the USA, wages did increase, more or less without interruption except for disruptions caused by allochthonous factors, until about the 80's when Reaganomics destroyed the foundations of growth potential in the working class lifestyle
instead marx envisioned a future where the rich simply became richer, and therefore a revolution would be necessary to communalize a society's assets.
>in some countries, the wealth disparity made even a working class revolution unviable; if you want the distinction between Mao and Marx, it's that Mao had the peasants revolt instead because there was no appreciable "working class" that could stage a revolution
today's working class family is largely no better off than in the 70s, but our technology is proportionally more able to accomplish sophisticated tasks of coordination, meaning a "sharing economy" can largely be automated, and in the future, roboticized. it's unclear how the ultrarich will respond to a largely automated economy; in large part, it's the working class inventing automated economies to generate the wealth required of joining the ultrarich. this kind of disruption, historically, hasn't been good for the health of the disruptor..

Might as well just build bigass towers for residential purposes and save land.

I bet you're my tenant and pay me rent. Recycling goes in the blue bin, commie.

>for an apartment and then wait 5-10-?? years

my mother waited for 20 years for an apartment in Warsaw and eventually got one in a small town in eastern Poland, kek
