What do you think will happen when all those competing supply chains and ai tokens and smartcontract platforms realise that at most like 10% of them can survive, because they all do the same shit?
But bitcoin is just a massive shitcoin with the most liquidity
I agree with you.
However if you are implying that BTC would regain prominence then you're wrong.
BTC hasn't begun to pump yet. We're at the ground floor of the next bull run, and smart money is moving into alts first in pursuit of the "next" BTC/ETH. Once alt prices are pumped sufficiently so that their theoretical returns are not as attractive as they are now money will flow into BTC and it will pump pretty hard. Thats the only way to bring the normies in, which is what smart money wants (eventually).
Exactly. That's why it's the boss.
10 times more history and orders of magnitude more brand recognition than any other coin.
Fast low-fee transactions are not hard, there are a million different shitcoins doing them, and eventually BTC will do them too.
What's hard is convincing normallos that their funds wont disappear unexpectedly.
Bitcoin already has fast low cost transactions so much so that they've made a decentralised uncensorable twitter on it at memo.cash
Eventually, it's a matter of time before the public knows names besides bitcoin and it can finally die.
The question isn’t if bitcoin can remain dominate against a tide of shitcoins constantly being sharted. The question is can bitcoin ever lose dominance against a single crypto?
The useless shitty one that can't handle 7 tx per second will die horribly.
Amen, brother.
YEAR OF THE ALT

Bitcoin dominance will keep going down because currently altcoins are too easy make money on and they leverage your gains so only brainlets would not be trading them.
When most of the altcoins die and trading becomes hard btc dominance will go back up and this will continue until this speculative bubble is finally over and only the few coins that actually do something will be left.
Look guys who brought the first car out? ford. Are ford still around? yes. Did ford lose market dominance, yes. Did ford die? its only newfags that are jelly that wants BTC to die. it will be around for a good while...
bitcoin core looks to be stuck around 8-10k from now on. Our only hope is if BCH can take the lead and be the market leader.
and BCH will take it's place as the real bitcoin
kek, keep hoping because it'll be the last thing to cling to
hope dies last
but it dies
> said it's built on Bitcoin
It's actually built on Bitcoin cash.
Although i get what you mean, this isn't exactly that comparable. You don't buy Toyota's by trading in Fords.
But let's suggest this dominance figure is solely a reflection on "use case" or end products. Bitcoin has failed to prove itself on it's own stated goals under increased traffic last year. Why would anyone speculative buy into bitcoin now, knowing the current state of it, it's limitations and future roadmap?
Buying bitcoin now, with the idea that it's "the future of money" is stupider than ever. It's never been more of a ponzi scheme simply because we've seen how ugly it's network gets when used as intended.
It's still the king.
You can cheer once its gone, but that won't be this day, week or month.
>It's still the king.
King of bag holders.
BTC was destroyed, BTH is fuckin it up, lately. both will shrink, possibly become irrelevant, well BCH at least. i just can't see it going away completely. of course its is going to get smaller, its fuckin 10 years old, that must be a century in crypto time.
