my college had a lot of squirrels and occasionally a fox

there are a coouple of stray dogs around my school

I've never seen a squirrel or a fox in my life ;_;

Here are some more kots being fed

What shit hole university promotes the support of feral cats?

Are stray dogs common in Italy or Europe? Because here you rarely see them, almost all are domestic.

Attached: 20180513_132854.jpg (4128x2322, 1.94M)

No one promotes it, people feed kots everywhere. In the summer lots of stores and businesses put a bowl of water for the neighborhood kots and dogs.

Do you not like cats?

they are common in shithole countries with not many chinese immigrants i guess

Never knew that desu. Inonly know that Russia has a problem with stray dogs.
Btw here is a pic of the most friendly cat in my faculty :3

Attached: 20180109_164512.jpg (4128x2322, 3.81M)

No I don’t but that’s besides the point. People shouldn’t be feeding feral animals. The fact this goes on at a university is astounding to me.

Why not?

Attached: 20180106_162313.jpg (4128x2322, 2.18M)

Cute!

I’d feed a cat

I don’t trust them. I can’t read them like I can with a dog. They kill other wild life for no reason. They have a tendency to be nocturnal. They hack up hair balls. They will scratch you for the fuck of it. They breed like crazy.

Kot literally means excrement in german heh

I occassionly feed a semi-stray kot and let him sleep in my house. He rarely lets me pet him but oh well.

Here is one of the many birds from my University. This one is the official animal of Israel.

Good lad!

Why not start learning reading them? :3

Abdul

I know enough as it is. But even apart from aversion to cats you shouldn’t be feeding feral animals.

The Amerimutt is immunized against all dangers; one may call him a fatso, pant shitter, school shooter, Israel's greatest ally, it all runs off him like water off a raincoat. But call him a Mutt and you will be astonished at how he recoils, how injured he is, how he suddenly shrinks back; "Whiter than you Muhammad."

Jose

Lots of foxes here in the north, but they usually run away when you get close to them

Dawwww. Why doesn't he let you pet him?

Here's some qt doggo that came up to me.

Sorry but only Muslims hate and free dogs

Awww I'm jealous. There are almost no animals in the Tel Aviv area besides dogs, cats, geese, parrots and some hedgehogs in green areas.

*Fear

Got this hoarde of Canada geese living at my work site. Any the clog up the road

Didn't say anything about hating dogs Cletus

Attached: 1528306292156.png (1981x861, 112K)

Makes sense, what animal would want to live in such a grim place

Attached: IMG_2029.jpg (3312x2484, 1.68M)

God I know. I hate those fucking things. They hang out in back and will at me when I walk back there.

On the other hand I got deer, pheasant and coyotes running around here too

in my region we mostly see
flying dogs (birbs, pigeons, seagulls)
insect dogs (butterflies, bees, crickets, ladybugs, etc)
some sea dogs (jellyfish, various fish of all shapes and sizes, hammersharks (very rare), octopus, sea urchin, sea lion (very rare)
and of course cats and dogs, yes a lot abandoned/stray, but some of them have owners and are just adventurous/let outside

Attached: IMG_20180706_205917.jpg (1920x1088, 627K)

OP here. Took this pic a moment ago

Damn it, forgot to add it

>I don’t trust them. I can’t read them like I can with a dog.
it's a cat, they're dumb as shit

Have a neighbourhood cat that belongs to someone, but spends most of his time outside. Often comes over to our place since we feed him, but I also usually see him around and about stalking something in the grass.
Also get hedgehogs, but unfortunately they keep falling into our pond in the back and drown.
Last year two died, this year already one.

Attached: kot.jpg (3072x4096, 1.2M)

Sounds like a comfy rural area. The only animals around my house besides cats and dogs are my Moroccan neighbors.

Also get hedgehogs, but unfortunately they keep falling into our pond in the back and drown.

Fug ;_;
Why not build a smell fense around the pond?

My school has some stray cats. They are mostly crepuscular or nocturnal though so they avoid people.

>lived in a farm town
>farmers would leave their dogs outside 24/7
>they wandered off at night and formed packs
>would kill shit together and then go back home

spooky stuff

I got paid 20euro for each dead cat i brought the Janitor at my university.
These fuckers paid most of my rent.

>tfw this job will never exist in your country

Why were there so many dead cats around

fucking kek

yeah it's pretty rural and it's beautiful and there's quite a few natural reservoirs (?) /protected wildlife areas

but the people and technology are shit so...

hopefully an air rifle was involved

Literally Retarded: The Post.

>Why not build a smell fense around the pond?
Unfortunately due to the construction it's impossible

Nice cat
What do you study?

Attached: IMG_20180701_214056.jpg (3120x4160, 837K)

Fucking psycho

Stray cats are a bane for local wildlife, and feeding feral animals is bad mkay.
They're cute though so keep posting
t. Wildlife management

Cute kot :3

Awww. Well at least try and save them when you can.

History and Geography.

Elaborate

Attached: 20170317_060009.jpg (4128x2322, 2.35M)

>History and Geography.
as teacher or normal? I heard that it's hard to find jobs with these degrees tho I'm also very interested in the two subjects
how do you like it?
>Elaborate
they kill all the birds and lizards etc

Cars have hunted about 50 species to Extinction

There's a really fluffy cat that hangs around the student accommodation I used to live at.

I love it, I'm actually about to graduate. My main focus was on Urban planning, basically how all the city elements and dynamics work and how we got to this point. I don't plan to be a teacher, the goal is to work in a city hall or some other governing body. Also I might also go further and work in research since I'm really good at it.

>they kill all the birds and lizards etc
Is that really such a problem?

good to hear, your main focus was geography then, right?
and yes, it kinda is a problem if you care about the preservation of the ecosystem

Attached: IMG_20180609_124923.jpg (4160x3120, 1.42M)

Exactly. I was required to pick another degree besides Geography so I went with history.

My studies were not only about the ecosystem but about urbanism and culture, health, government, Geopolitics and more.

Attached: 20180621_114220.jpg (4128x2322, 2.9M)

They kill a lot of local fauna and breed like crazy, so everyday biodiversity is compromised.

Yes.
There are cats and stray dogs living in campus. There are also birds and squirrels living in the nature that surrounds it.

shitloads of squirrels and a small population of iguanas that our wildlife center released on accident several years back. There are also a few strays that the groundskeepers feed on occasion

Attached: 1527604432768.png (600x600, 342K)

This is arguably the most famous dog living in the university.

Cute doggo

Squirrels and foxes are commonplace near where I live. I was also attacked by a pair of badgers quite recently, which scared me a bit because I didn't know there were badgers near me. I managed to frighten them off though

kick it right in its snout

How aggressive are badgers

At Oxford, lots of the colleges have an official position of "College Cat" written into their centuries-old constitutions.

One interesting exception is Wadham college, whose College Cat is actually a dog. The dogs official title is Cat of course, and students can sign up to take the Cat on walks to the park whenever they like.

qt thread

There are bears, lynxes, moose and such in the woods surrounding the university. They are enthusiastically killed by the student hunting parties.

Attached: ajaktn.jpg (716x960, 207K)

Damn, you were lucky, I heard those little skunk-wannabe shits are aggressive. The only times I've been attacked in recent history was when a wasp stung me in the arm on the bus. I was less scared of the bug than of the fact that I didn't know if I have alertii reactions to the venom. Eventually after a fee hours there wasn't a even a sign of the sting. Guess I was lucky.

Also, they keep dogs, of course.

Attached: jämthund.jpg (1600x1200, 207K)

Nah but I saw a cat which got lost at my uni
I named her Binoche after my favorite french actress

There are possums everywhere since my university was built in the middle of a bush. For possums they're extremely friendly and will allow you to get up close and give them food rather than just running away.

best thread on this board in a while
there's almost no stray cats/dogs here, but there's loads of geese, swans, rabbits and moles
at uni the rabbits always came out and ran around in the evening but they always kept a very safe distance

pic related is how you usually stow your swan away at transportation hubs (they usually push away the bikes, they need a lot of space so only rich kids have a swan)

Attached: dontmovetiligetback.jpg (3264x2448, 1.97M)

and pic related is one of the many tour guides around Nara in Japan
they are recovering addicts; while it's not good for them, once they get their hit of biscuits they become very friendly, and follow you around wherever you go, providing information about the historical sights around the city and helping stop traffic when crossing the street

Attached: ohayogozaimasuwatashiwadeerudesu.jpg (2448x3264, 2.75M)

That's actually two kots my lad.

Possums are rather misunderstood here

Based kots

>excrement
German, as usual, thinks about shit.
