Because race is about groups of people, not about individuals. I am what many people call a racist (not that it isn't a very diluted term in general), but I am also an individualists. I just understand probabilities and statistics, which doesn't necessarily say anything about YOU, personally. More often than not though, I will be proven wrong by people of your race.
