You don't get it. Clausewitz teaches us that war is a) the continuation of politics by other means and b) an act of violence to compel the enemy to fulfil one's will. The US didn't achieve it's war aim. Vietnam did. Therefore Vietnam won the war. USA lost the war. Simple as that. And no amount of bullshit gibberish can change that.

I'm not denying the burgers lost, I'm saying your claim that us losing against overwhelming odds is somehow better than the US losing Vietnam is bs. Vietnam was a failed foreign intervention that was put to halt because it was deemed not worth it. It's not comparable to existential wars like WW2
