Awful urban planning and infrastructure, but decent currency exchange rates and access to superior American products if you have a VISA. Wealth inequality is also quite noticeable.

San Diego is pretty nice overall, that's the only one I've been to. Then again that was ~10 years ago before all the politics and it becoming a sanctuary city

Tijuanafag here, life is boring as fuck, criminals kill each other so there's no real threat most of the time.
The dollar is widely accepted by most stores as currency, prices are way higher than they should be for most things.
Overall it's just boring and not really worth it for anything other than frequently going to the US (which a lot of people do just to hang out and buy shit)

They don't have any relevant cities in the other side of the border where drugs would sell.
The lack of peace usually doesn't seep into regular civilian life though, as unlike in the south where cartels fight for town control here they just fight each other for control of their tunnels and routes.
