Japs are so butthurt

ye i bet this is one of those threads that nips are gonna translate and post on their web for masturbation

At least nips aren't afraid of falling asleep with a fan on.

I'm surprised that Japanese don't mention that fact much. It's actually the dumbest fucking thing I've heard.

Explain

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_death

That's pretty dumb

maybe you're just dumb and don't realize that with certain conditions sleeping with a fan on can cause hyperthermia or hypothermia

Hwabyeong
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hwabyeong
Hwabyeong or Hwabyung is a Korean[1] somatization disorder, a mental illness which arises when people are unable to confront their anger as a result of conditions which they perceive to be unfair.[2] Hwabyung is loosely used as the name of the disease, as it is actually more of a name regarding the cause. Hwabyung is known as a culture-bound syndrome.[3] The word hwabyung is composed of hwa meaning "fire", ("angry") and byung meaning "syndrome" or "illness".[4] In South Korea, it is also called ulhwabyeong (鬱火病), "depression anger illness". In a survey, 4.1% of the general population in a rural area in Korea were reported as having hwabyung.[3] Another survey shows that about 35% of Korean employees begin to suffer from this disease at some point

I remember watching a karate show when I was young and your flag reminds me of the large mat they fight on, desu.

When I generally think of Korea I just see a small powerhouse of a nation and nothing of your landscapes come to mind.

>Hakamada
That's Japanese

Lol, even here koreans are suck

It's the nation my parent was from. I feel a certain disconnect though between Korean millenials and myself. They don't seem particularly Korean to me in either their disposition or upbringing. The way they speak and carry themselves is completely unrecognizable to me.

I actually miss how back in the 90's no one could even point to Korea on a map.

>I actually miss how back in the 90's no one could even point to Korea on a map.
ye i really miss the days no one knew where korea was and when we had no well known stereotype.
those were the best days but then some retards had to go "HUR DUR GOOK HERE NOTICE US PREASE"

war criminals who never apologized to vietnam

let me remind you, not apologizing and not recognizing the genocide is two different things.
everyone in korea knows and recognizes the genocide caused by korean marines and let me remind you the only organization that does not officially recognize the warcrimes are the marines veterans association of Korea.
and im pretty sure for past few decades Korean presidents has made remarks on the matter

sorry i meant to say war crimes not genocide

Apartments are same size as American, usually more comfortable though

Only problem is they all have a step right after you enter the door and non-Koreans don't expect it so if the lights are off you always trip, heated floors are common and bathroom configurations are top tier though

Only rural, old people eat dogs. Young people usually aren't racist but sometimes won't associate with non-Korean men because their parents will be upset

I was dating a grill in Korea for a while and asked her about this, she thought I was making fun of her and broke up with me

This is true, although I think those statistics aren't as high as they should be

All false

Pic related is Korean landscape from Pocheon area, July last year. Most of the country is rural mountains, but Korean rural =/= Western rural

Why did Korean men become so effeminate in the 90s?

Attached: 20170724_195910.jpg (4032x2268, 2.47M)

The most depressing country on Earth with the highest youth suicide rates among the OECD members. Skyrocketing unemployment rates with an ever worsening economic situation when all others are wallowing in an unprecedented economic boom since the Lehman brothers shock in 2008.

That picture kind of sucks so here's another one, it's always misty like that in the morning/evening during monsoon season

Also there's a dog farm down the street from where I took this with statues of caricatures of American soldiers with their cocks out down the street from this but I never got a good picture of them

Attached: 20170724_201716.jpg (4032x2268, 2.53M)

kimchi, Korean-nori, Seoul, 辛noodle, Sewol-ship

This is because Confucianism and everyone there knows it but when they get old they'll keep the country shitty because "I'm old, I worked for this, you have to respect me" so it will never change

If non-Koreans try to say anything not praising Korea everyone gets upset even if they agree with you

Your country is doomed user

Gook copy everything

But everything is lower quality

they are never beyond the original.the originator 。

This is true

If you go to a restaurant in Korea and ask for sushi they give you sashimi, and if you want sushi they call it kimbap but that's not the same thing, it just looks the same. They call ramen 'ramyon' and insist that that's correct and theirs is original even though it's just instant noodles with cheap sliced cheese melted in, they even do this in the US

> your country
Thank God I'm just an expat here.. Better get outta here asap huh..

It's bretty gud as an expat, I plan to go back

Everyone is more polite usually and they leave you the fuck alone, also there are no fat people

Do you teach english or have a real job?

>ramyon
China pls annex these deplorable people

why are you in korea? is u white?

why? ramen in korean is ramyon, whats so wrong about it? just like how ramen isnt really pronounced ramen in chinese, same way for korea. if you want to obsess so much about originality in cuisine then you know nothing about it

This

Attached: 112486288.png (590x402, 82K)

>whats so wrong about it?
it sounds stupid

and chinese doesn't?

If I had to choose learn Cantonese or learn Korean, I'd choose Cantonese.

No, I'm going to university here. Planning to go back to HK as soon as I graduate.
Sadly not. Wish I were white :(

why did you let Seoul, a metropolitan area within range of outdated North Korean artillery pieces, grow to 25.6 million? You should have enacted zoning restrictions decades ago and slowly depopulated the border towns. Should we really care about North Korea blowing you up if you don't even care about it?

ok go ahead and learn it, we will still call it ramyon, and japanese will still call it ramen, and the chinese will still call it la mian, when in reality because they are different, thats why they call it differently.

The entire country is in NK artillery range user, and border towns are depopulated

Which uni? Are most international students there koreaboos? I would like to go to school there in a few years but probably won't happen

>the entire country is in NK artillery range

Sungkyunkwan university in Seoul. There are only a few universities that accept A-level in Korea so I didn't have many choices..

I consider that artillery but really everything down to Pyongtaek is in range and "yeah let's just move our capital every time our enemy's artillery range comes a little closer" is retarded

not the guy that posted the deleted post but yea youre right i mean who cares they got nukes anyway lol

Oh, most of the intl students I met went to Hanyang or Yonsei i think but I was in Hongdae when I met them and usually very drunk so I don't remember, lots of qt euro girls though. How is the one you're at?

I know nothing of Korean literature or trad culture. Korea seems really good at exporting pop culture (hollywood-esque movies, american-esque dramas, kpop, etc...), just like Japan, but unlike Japan, Korea's high culture is not being exported at all.

doing what

Us Army

Not really expat but if I went out I usually pretended to be one so I was treated how they are
