I had to study english in school for 12 or 14 years. My english wasn't perfect when I was around 10 so my mother sent me to a private institute to study english, in a matter of weeks I was the best of the class. But the best way to learn a language is to practice every day, I only read books/comics/manga in english, I don't watch movies with subtitles, I play videogames in english, I talk with my gf in english (she isn't a wh*te argie).

I studied english the boring way from ages 7 to about 12. Then I expanded my vocabulary and acquired true proficiency after years upon years of shitposting and writing short stories in english with a bunch of online friends.
Eventually, English kinda replaced my native language. I completely forgot about Standard Arabic and I can only speak in Egyptian Arabic.
