Im currently residing in the netherlands and each passing day i get more convinced southern european countries are much better than this ones...we have great weather,great food, beautiful landscapes and a nice and warm people,these central and northern countries might be rich but they dont have any of that

That kind of map should be coloured without considering borders. France is half yellow, Scotland is blue, Northern Italy is green, Slovenia and Croatia are 50% red and 50% yellow. That version looks too generic to me.

From a cultural standpoint, we're not half-yellow. That's a gross misrepresentation of the cultures of many regions of Southern France, that tend to lean more toward Lyon/Savoyard or Western French culture. At best you could color the South East and North Catalonia yellow.
Geographically though, I don't see why not.
