I'm from New Hampshire in a mountain town so it's upper AT (Appalachian trail) and you'll be fine. Just don't wear Muslim Imam clothes and you'll be fine. It's literally like 99% white here though so you'd stick out like a white guy in India. Totally fine nobody cares. Just be kind, make small talk with the cashiers/gas station clerks etc.
