Middle class brazilians venerate the US, to the point they unironically think it's the best contry in the world and devoid of any problems. A fuckton of them also don't see themselves as brazillians, and want to get the fuck out as soon as possible. The thing is even funnier when you talk with these people and realize they are ignorant about american culture, traditions and history, basically lacking any knowledge about a place they idolize besides shit they see in pop culture. The guy in OP's picture is an obvious example of this trend.

But they're so dumb that they're not aware that Bolsonaro literally worships the USA in every way and literally wants to do anything to please the USA. There are nationalists who think Brazil should do anything for USA and worship them while there are other nationalists who wish Brazil to be independent superpower (impossible to achieve).
