Started a new character in 3 the other day and holy fuck I forgot how bad the character creation is. Everything I make comes out looking like an Innsmouth reject.

I’m glad I never played Morrowind because it seems to ruin the enjoyment for all other TES games.
Elder Scrolls has the best lore of any game universe and Oblivion was a really cool introduction to all that.

Morrowind sucks. I hit a crab 30 times and I miss all 30 hits. How am I supposed to advance this game if I can't even hit a fucking enemy? And when I switch to bow, I fire like 30 arrows before I finally kill it. The fighting mechanics is so stupid.

Select redguard for race, strength and endurance as your major attributes and medium armor and long blade as major skills. Find a silver longsword asap and you're already going to be able to do shit outside of your level.

this is my biggest grip w/ morrowind, unfortunately. I also didn't like the faction quests, especially the morag tong.

faction quests were garbage in Morrowind
Oblivion on the other hand, had some really good factions questlines like Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, but the main quest was terrible

Websites don't just give you articles with sprinkling of ads, they need you to download their app and like their facebook page and sign over the rights to your soul and follow them on twitter. It's lost a lot of the passion and genuineness that I associate with using the internet when I was younger. I feel like I'm being force-fed content from companies with a financial stake, rather than discovering something interesting that another person did or made.

Honestly my biggest problem with morrowind was always the atmosphere. It just feels sickly and gross, and not in a purposeful way. Doesn’t help that everything looks like a walking polygon.

It really was underrated. Map editor, mod tools, online play, dedicated servers, spectator modes, very well balanced. It had all the ingredients to become a big online RTS thing, except that it never did.

In a FIRST PERSON FUCKING GAME I want a character that FUCKING WHACKS HIS STICK WHERE I POINT THE CROSSHAIR and doesn't whack a foot off the target or lose 99% of the hit dicerolls because muh stats. Morrowind is absolute fucking GARBAGE at translating the RPG formula into free movement first person gameplay. If they stick with all the RPG shit they can't convincingly do first person. If they do first person they have to do away with some of the RPG elements like they actually did in later games. Pile of shit fucking game Morrowind is.
