I bought elevated shoes (+7 cm), I will still be a manlet but at least a taller manlet.
Feels good
I bought elevated shoes (+7 cm), I will still be a manlet but at least a taller manlet.
Feels good
how tall are you with the shoes?
174 cm
I would suggest getting lifts and slowly adding layers until you reach 7 cm. If you wear those elevated shoes overnight without any sort of build up, people will notice.
your body will still look small and people will look at you confused
I'm rather fat, muscled and chunky so I hope not, my body looks "bigger" than my height actually
>slowly adding layers
Well, such shoes you can add layers look kinda stupid, I bought rather normal shoes with some hiperultra elevating technology inside the shoe. They have heels too, but not really high.
> people will notice.
I want to look better among people I don't know and who don't know me, especially in public places. I hate when people stare at me because I look so stupid with my pathetic height (167 cm).
People don't go about their lives thinking of other people's heights. People with a complex do it themselves. I'm sure you're projecting your complex onto those people.
>People don't go about their lives thinking of other people's heights.
They do it unconsciously. They just look at other people and judge them. Don't you look at girls in a bus or anywhere and rate them or think "I could/couldn't date her"? I do it so I guess everyone does.
that's so fucking pathetic
>I bought elevated shoes (+7 cm), I will still be a manlet but at least a taller manlet.
>Feels good
Cool now you should practice fighting and challenge Putin to be crowned king of the manlets.
>Well, such shoes you can add layers look kinda stupid
I was talking about lifts, dumb ass. The type of lifts that go inside the shoe and can take out at anytime. You don't even notice them. You can get them so they add an inch with every layer you add.
Never thought guys were so self-concious of their height, I'm tall but it never gave my anything
>I'm rather fat, muscled and chunky so I hope not, my body looks "bigger" than my height actually
I have a friend like that. He has the shortest fucking legs despite being 6'0". I'm 3 inches taller and when I rode a bike he had I think my knees were up by my ears before adjusting the seat.
I think you are mentally fucked and you must stop with that complex and accept yourself as you are
>Never thought guys were so self-concious of their height
>I'm tall
No shit.
>"Never thought guys were so self-conscious about the money they earn, I have a trust fund but it never gave me anything."
kek I should've feel good about it tho
and unlike money, it really never gave me anything
I'm sure you're not a manlet so you'll never understand this. I'd rather have no arm than be so short.
>accept yourself as you are
I do (or more like I would), but other people, especially girls don't. Tell people not to judge other people by height and tell girls to date guys regardless of their height and I'm fine.
If Putin or other manlets do it, it means they need it.
Maybe, but I don't think it will look that bad.
My legs are shorter than my body overall (when I sit I'm not that shorter than other people than when I stand next to them) so I guess elevated shoes will make me even more proportional
I'm 170cm
It's not that it "adds" anything, but it takes away if you don't have it. Imagine someone with a lisp and someone without. Having a normal speaking pattern won't give you an advantage , but having a lisp will definitely give you a disadvantage. Is the person inside changed by their lisp? No, but it will change how others see them, even if there's reason for it.
Well, that's still more than me and average male height in Argentina is 174 cm, in Poland it's 179 cm, so you don't look that weird in your country like I do in mine.
makes sense, the guy just wants to be normal
why do you care about what people think of you?
they probably don't even think of you and you are just projecting it
Exactly.
>why do you care about what people think of you?
Because I want to have friends and maybe even a gf? We can pretend it's all about your personality but we know it's bullshit. If you look weird, people won't even invite you to a beer party because they want to have a great time, not to think "jesus, this fucking dwarf sitting with us scares all girls off".
>they probably don't even think of you and you are just projecting it
That's my problem exactly, as stated in and , I WANT people to think about me, I want some girls to think "maybe he could be my bf" about me, not just treat me like invisible or a funny clown you can make fun of but you'd be ashamed of talking to him seriously.
>why do you care about what people think of you?
Are you a NEET? Unless you're in academia you'll be heavily judged by your appearance in almost every professional setting.
>average male height in Argentina is 174 cm
That's inaccurate
It is accurate, just it includes older people as well, also I guess you have quite a big Amerindian/mixed population + really poor people living in slums who are short but you probably don't see them every day because you're a middle class city dweller so you think your average height is higher (probably it is in your social class), but here in Poland most of people of my age hit 185-190 cm too so it's significantly more than average. My cousin is 201 cm. What do you think, what I look like at family meetings?
I honestly feel bad for you man
t. 193cm
I was actually thinking our average height was lower but i get your point
>height doesn't matte-
telegraph.co.uk
>As touched upon earlier, online dating can be a disaster zone for short men. Hence why, if OKCupid bios are anything to go by, almost all men exaggerate their height by a couple of inches.
>Nor is it just a problem for online daters. This 2013 study found that on average, women prefer their partner to be 21cm taller than them, and other research by anthropologist Dr Boguslaw Pawlowski has concluded that potential partners size each other up before considering each others' face, personality or body shape.
>It gets worse – or better, depending on what altitude you're reading this from. A study of married couples in Indonesia found that a having a taller husband was positively related to a wife's happiness.
>In the States, the man is taller than the woman in around 90pc of heterosexual married couples, which speaks of society's expectations. Men who've dated women who are taller than them will know the feeling of having passers-by look at you like they've just seen a glitch in the matrix."
>tfw 173 cm
You would think by now high heels for men would be a thing now.
Dude aren’t you guys all short in Poland?
>now
If everyone wore them it wouldn't make a difference because short people would still look much shorter than tall people.
Average male height in Poland is almost 179 cm, pretty average for Europe
en.wikipedia.org
The Czech girl I was seeing was an inch shorter than me(I’m 6’5”).. no one could tell either way though.. not at our heights.. we just always got the “You guys are huge”-comments lol.
>6'4 woman
Literally in the 99.99th percentile. Also tall women settle for what they can get.
i think i'm about 162 cm
Still a turbomanlet.
Holy shit my sister is taller than you, she's 165cm.
But better than 167 cm. I see a lot of ~175 cm guys with gfs, while almost no one under 170 cm. 175-ish height is already noticed by girls
But now you can't get bullied by tall girls who step on your penis.
is she a qtπ?
She properly pulls off the art hoe aesthetic I guess.
i'm the same height, fren!
what ethinicity are you? i'm a mutt and also i'm the same height as my dad, so i have an excuse
>be 169cm
>still not the shortest in the thread
Assuming you mean me. I’m just not intimidated by them, for obvious reasons unlike the rest of you Manlets. She’s thin, nice legs, and incredibly submissive.
Though I agree she probably takes what she can get to some degree. Seeing her past, she doesn’t exactly date slobs lol. Though I know I hold the power in this one. As most dudes are intimidated by her even though she’s quite attractive.
Are you an ethnic Swede?
i'm a chinaman. i guess that's my excuse
It's not that manlets are intimidated by tall women, it's just that tall women don't even consider short men as potential partners.
Seems I'm the only whitey (inb4 Slavs are not white) who's that short here.
I wouldn't want a girl taller than me either. It looks weird.
t. Pleb
He also wears elevated shoes tho
So?
So it means he knows it looks weird and wants to diminish the height difference between him and his wife
He's wearing regular shoes with a normal sized heel though.
you wish, I'm sure it's elevated inside
they're made in a way to look like normal shoes but they aren't
>You wish
Why would I? I'm 183cm.
She's wearing heels in that photo, I don't think they care by this point.
Hey man I just read this thread and can relate a lot. But I know a few guys around your height with gfs. I know a cute girl who only dated manlets. You just need to have a good personality and find the right people.
You wish in a sense that what you said is not true. Whatever.
Quite low heels for a woman, especially a supermodel. You know, in some situations a woman, especially the first lady, can't just wear fucking ballerinas.
>But I know a few guys around your height with gfs.
Were they white, of European descent and they dated such girls? Because I don't really want to listen to stories about short Chinese men dating short Indian girls as a proof that "everything is possible" as it's not in my case.
btw in most of photos she does wear ballerinas indeed lol (yet Sarkozy still looks like stupid), so it means they DO care
I can't imagine any other woman to wear ballerinas in such a situation except for a woman of a very short man who is obsessed about his height and she doesn't want him to look pathetic.
Actually the example I was thinking of was just two guys with the same girl. One guy was your height, the other a bit taller, maybe 175 cm. But they were all white, so there's that. There are short girls out there who don't care about height.
Maybe there are few but still it's not that manlets are magically better people at every aspect except for their height, so we have to work really hard and be almost perfect at everything to make a girl pay attention to us, not to an average man who doesn't care about himself and his only advantage is height, yet he's still more attractive to most of girls. And it doesn't work like "if you're short, you have to replace your height with your personality" because I don't have any better personality, talents etc. just because I'm short. Blind people have better hearing just because they're blind, manlets don't have better personality just because they're manlets, unfortunately.
Life is hard.
Think of yourself as a girl with a flat chest and no ass. Would you date a girl with no tits or ass? Some would, some wouldn't, some would even prefer it (pedos).
Women don't carry lists around to cross off men, that's a Jow Forums-Jow Forums fantasy. Some do of course, but the vast majority are looking for nothing more than a caring guy with decent looks who is as tall or taller than her. Considering that the average female height in Poland is 165cm, you're clear for at least half of the female population, if not more.
Based on your post however it seems like you'll never make it with a girl because you project yourself as a very insecure person, something that no one finds attractive or endearing. I don't mean that you shouldn't complain - you have every right to -but don't go around whining to everyone you know. It makes you look like a bitch.
>Life is hard.
Tell that to a guy who is much shorter than you.
I'm 173cm and still taller than most girls, but shorter than most guys. I don't mind it too much, being taller than the girl is all that matters. I think you'll still be able to find small girls at 167cm. Average height for girls in Belgium for girls is 164cm for example.
girls want a man who's taller than them with heels
Do you think in 20 years time men would heels as much as women?
>I bought elevated shoes (+7 cm),
Elliot did the same thing
>a caring guy with decent looks
Why do you think that if I'm a manlet, I'm magically a caring guy with decent looks?
>Tell that to a guy who is much shorter than you.
Very few of them but I do admit, they have it hard as well. And I never see such guys with girlfriends for some reason.
Well no one my age (23) wears heals here but I guess that might be true when you're 30-40
>Why do you think that if I'm a manlet, I'm magically a caring guy with decent looks?
I don't, that's just what most women want. If you're not that, then most women won't care for you.
>Very few of them
You're talking to one.
Practically all dress shoes and boots have heels, most at least an inch and a half.
so these are cultural differences, here every girl wears heels
>If you're not that, then most women won't care for you.
This is simply unfair because these are things I didn't have any impact on. That's why I complain.
>You're talking to one.
The US is different, you have a lot of races, especially short ones, so you can choose from a wide range of girls, especially the not demanding ones who will be in awe that an American liked her, maybe she'll get the passport now. Here it's all about look, even less than about money.
I'm in the same boat as you, I understand your frustrations completely. You will never please everyone, and some people - mostly women - will scowl at your sight, but you can't let that defeat you. You're a goddamn man, don't let dumb asses and their prejudices get to you.
Ok thanks, actually you helped me a bit.
can you take a picture of how you look on them? I'd like to analye how it looks lika as those extra 7cm could genuinely change my life m8
btw, just pic of your foot and ankle with the shoes on, not a pic of yourself
I still wait for shipping.
Also I wouldn't post photos of myself here anyway.
>elevated shoes (+7 cm)
How do you walk in those things without breaking an ankle?
Would be funny, since heels started as footwear for wealthy men.
Ever wore boots? Feels like that but slightly taller. Believe or not short men aren't the only ones who buy these shoes. I know at least two guys above 6'3 that wear 2-inch lifts everyday. Based on my experience it seems that men at either extremes have hang-ups about their height.
>Ever wore boots?
Nothing with 7cm heels.
>2-inch lifts
That's still 2cm shorter than 7cm heels, almost another inch. I'm short (174cm) and feel self-conscious about it to an extent but damn, wouldn't exchange an extra few centimetres of height if it meant giving up the comfort of flat shoes.
>Nothing with 7cm heels.
It's not "7 cm heels", the heels are low, it's just insoles and layers inside the shoe that give you this height.
>wouldn't exchange an extra few centimetres of height if it meant giving up the comfort of flat shoes.
You could try stacking insoles, they feel great and will add at least 2-3cm.
>I'm short (174cm)
Just realized elevated shoes are the male version of makeup/plastic surgery
Serious? That's even more hilarious, like full on goth boots.
Sounds lame, to be honest. If the height disappears the moment your shoes are removed, it would only be yet another thing to feel anxious about in public: the fear that someone else would find out about your stealthy moon boots which would lead to being humiliated.
Kids half my age are taller than me. My younger brother is taller than me. I'm the shortest adult male in my family.
>I'm the shortest adult male in my family.
Hey Luke how's the picture business
I had a nice pair of boots like that. Except I was 195cm wearing them.
What happens if you have to remove your shoes though? you'll be screwed then, manlet-user
Scratch that, I'm pretty sure I'm 173cm, not 174. The last time my height was measured it was 5 foot 8 and I can't remember the exact height in cm, but 174 sounds too close to 5 foot 9, doesn't it?
It would be pretty neat to have a famous movie star brother. Is the guy on the right famous for anything as well as the actor on the left?
>What happens if you have to remove your shoes though? you'll be screwed then, manlet-user
I'm not going to do it.
t. American on vacation.
He's done a few movies but Liam's never reached the star power that Chris has. Ironically Luke, the least famous brother, is the most talented.
I'm not going to wear these shoes if I know I'll have to take off them
