Commieblocks in Slovenia are well maintained, however they still look bad, since no commieblock can ever look good.

The ugliest commieblock in my town

Attached: nebotočnik.jpg (3888x2592, 1.65M)

Nice try, tovarisch major KGB. Now fuck off.

Looks like a typical dormitory area in a typical Russian city

>looks better
No, it doesn't. It's the same shit, but it's "just built" - even trees are tiny.
Btw they look really ok. Better then most of "chaotic cities" with no sense of taste and logic, which we can see in the same time, for example, in Turkey.

What's your honest opinion on Le Havre, which is literally the iconic and the first commieblock city?

My street

these oldest commieblocks look better than any here built 10 years ago

1930s skyscrappers, built for workers coming from the countryside.

what are you actually complainin about? Was it bad place to live? I'm curious, because I grew up in a commiebloc too, but it was pretty much comfy. And definitely comfier then most of appartments I've seen in Europe/Israel/Turkey. At least it was warm, with big rooms and large court. With a nice bakery an the first floor and supermarket on the other side. With a school, clinic and a kindergarten right in five minutes of walk. Subway station - 10 minutes walk. I actually don't see what's wrong with commie standarts of lifespace except of the lack of commercial places like cafe's, restaurants and shit. But now every city is trashed with malls and most of the first floors of commieblocs are becoming commercial places.
Then, what is better place to live? Huge villa on the distant island? Subrbian cottage? Ye olde appartment in the downtown?

Picrelated. My comfyblock.
I have to admit that it's pretty ugly.

Commieblocks aren't that bad tbqhwy.

But at least you have a 24h gym eh

In Lithuania, more and more of them are getting renovated.

Another commieblock district from the 20s-30s, still in Lyon

Attached: DSC09158.jpg (1600x1200, 311K)

Lots of painted walls there, and now the tramway goes there, it's pretty comfy. I grew up near.

Interwar social housing is the best.
Some of those buldings are super valuable now

Late 80's buildings are the most depressing commieblocks ever.

Attached: YDXJ0069.jpg (4608x3456, 3.62M)

I looked up recently, apartments goes for 3000-4000€/sqm there.

Early 19th century commieblock, built for silk workers. Also in Lyon

You can hear the moaning very clearly

Look at those glorious motherfuckers

Feels like a piece of Warsaw on the edge of Paris

yes yes

Ikeablocks lel

it's a home for the elite
middle class can hardly afford cheapest commieblock

we are entering 2000s lol

It's funny these newer blocks are often worse quality than those built in the 60s

Attached: julkisivu-wolter-ramsayn-katu-4.jpg (1100x733, 135K)

>middle class can hardly afford 50k$
not really

>Literally a title picture on Wikipedia article on commieblocks
It's right next to mine and identical to the point I had troubles figuring which one I should go when drunk.

Worst part of living in a commieblock is that you're basically sitting on a mine. One morons fucks up with gas and everyone else will be affected. I'd rather live in a house tbqh

Attached: post-99-1126770667.jpg (640x480, 57K)

Alcohol sale in Russia is restricted to daytime. Typically around 10:00 to 22:00, but varies from region to region slightly.

It really depends on what you call quality. Generally commieblock built in the 70s were shittier than the ones in the previous decade. Recent commieblocks are really high quality but aesthetically shit.

>Literally a dumbass

Attached: Brick_Khrushchev_house_in_Tomsk.jpg (950x759, 765K)

It's around 4 million rubles for 60 square meters.

bummer, here too but at least here the late night corner shops dont care so at least there's that

dats spoopy

90s and early 2000s are by far the best quality here. There's been a huge construction boom in the recent years and these shit tier blocks are built fast by eastern european labor. They have a lot of issues often

Yeah, same here. You can always find a shady shop that either does not not give a fuck, or uses some loophole in the law (like registers oficialy as a bar).
