Why don't Scandinavians use bricks?

Why don't Scandinavians use bricks?

Are bricks for Southrons?

Attached: stockholm.jpg (634x358, 79K)

We do, though. Almost all houses in my country are brick houses. In Sweden and Norway, wooden houses are much more common, since there is an abundance of wood in those countries.

>since there is an abundance of wood in those countries.
True. Danish girls go crazy for Swedish wood

Attached: CyB1DGoWQAAGkOy.jpg (391x429, 52K)

I heard Swedish girls get quite a lot of ebony these days

Only in those American movies you like to watch

God tier Swedish girls won't let nigs touch them. Sweden is a hypergamy country. Chads only.

>thread about scandinavian building materials
>it immediately devolves into black dick

>American mentions bbc
Why do they do this so often?

The only ones who mentioned black penises are Americans, as usual. They are obsessed with it. At this point it's getting bizarre

90% of all houses are brick though?

>Scandi banter
>American enters
>the only thing he can contribute is his own country's fetish for africans
Vid Gudarna...
vidundret från Nordamerika...

Yes bricks are for southrons.

stockholm doesn't have deep soil with clay in it, Copenhagen does. Which is why:
"We do"

you'll see European cities are constructed with the optimal construction materials, that could be gathered regionally. Transporting bricks by ship is a costly affair, it's damn heavy. It's much easier for cities with a stony ground to just dig it up.

>discussing wood
>Swede thinks I'm talking about bbc

Maybe wood is a better heat insulator?

>N-No you
Holy shit oh no no non

What are the buildings in OP made of?

Plaster?

Not really Scandinavian but in the city centre of Tampere, Finland damn near every building next to the Tammerkoski rapids are 100+ y/o old factories with brick facades

Do you think fragile brick buildings are one of the reasons Sweden was able to beat Denmark's ass so many times?

>fragile brick buildings

There is not an abundance of wood in Norway compared to Sweden or compared to anywhere else except for Iceland.
Almost all houses in Bergen atleast are like OP's pic.

I've never seen a Swedish girl woth a nog and very rarely with a brownie. Don't live in Cuckholm though, they are more far gone than the restof us.

Also eesti... Is it worth it to go study in Tartu. A Swedish travel show went there when I was a kid and I've wanted to live there ever since. Am I crazy to want that?

those are brick buildings

It depends on what you want. I have to admit Tartu got too lonely for me because the pace of life was too slow.

Sure you will study and drink and hang out with new people, but I started to feel crippling loneliness there (even when I had friends and a gf). If you like the feeling of "disappearing" in an idyllic and safe little town maybe you will like it. I can't imagine how that would work from a Swedish person from Stockholm though. I always wanted to go back to Tallinn even though Tallinn sucks and is full of Slavs and nigs.

Ever been to the south west in sweden?

No. I just googled your architecture at different times over the years because I’m really into development.

Also, one time a Norwegian saw a pic of a Danish house on here and said “Brick houses? And you call yourselves Nordic?” giving me the impression that scandis don’t like bricks.

Denmark doesn' share the same architecture as Sweden and norway. You can even see this when you travel troughout sweden and cross the scania border. It changes from those white buildings with black logs to wooden houses.
Denmark also got infuelced by their lowlands brothers who saved their asses from being erradicated from this earth.

Do Americans really put their shoes in the fridge? You people are fucked up...

Wtf, that looks exactly like the small south german city I grew up in

literally all the buildings in this picture are made from bricks

bricks

Most of the time brick buildings are finished with plastering and a layer of paint like in pic related.

Too much work, so much easier to use these bigger pieces.

There are lots of brick houses here. What are you talking about?

Attached: lund2.jpg (1936x1296, 1.35M)

Skåne is hardly representative of Sweden

he is american, he has not walked the streets of nordic countries. he has only seen the shitposts

No, but there are lots in other places as well. Gothenburg is literally Brick: The city. All late 1800's/early 1900's factories/breweries in Stockholm are made out of brick.

Lots of villas from the 60's-70's are made out of brick. Lots of Stockholm suburb apartment areas are brick based.

>White buildings with black logs
>White with black logs
Kan du sluta med det här?

lmao didn't realize

Wtf I love Germany now

OP here, unironically this.

Also thanks for clearing up the question about what the OP buildings are made of. I always wondered that shit.

Is this cheaper than traditional construction? Why is it so popular for nords

You need to stop using ant pics.

It’s hard to tell which size pic you’re getting with the latest version of iOS

>Is this cheaper than traditional construction?
yes, yes it is. and between that and shit tier commieblocks it's the only type of housing construction companies build unless you're willing to dish out €€€
>Why is it so popular for nords
because people don't know about the long term implications
basically they are paying for a house that lasts 30 years, often by taking loans that take 30 years to pay off
