How common are stay at home Mums in your country?
How common are stay at home Mums in your country?
Not very frequent, they will if the guy makes enough
not very common at all unfortunately
common in terronia, not common elsewhere
It kind of depends on your education status. Most women who have college degrees or professional degrees are not going to stay at home. My wife is a good example, having a master in electrical engineering. But those without college degrees or just some bullshit degree in psychology or however you spell it are more likely to stay home here. My wife actually makes more than i do, despite have a 6-figure plus salary. it would be insane to have her stay at home.
My point is it is an economic decision.
haha fag
Common enough
women engineers ewww
Italian engineering, eww
how come its common in the poorest part of the country?
thats pretty materialistic of you
>But those without college degrees or just some bullshit degree in psychology or however you spell it are more likely to stay home here.
Objectively not true. If anything, poorer mothers tend to take on more than one job in order to support their families. Mothers with higher education can usually afford to work part-time/from home, in contrast.
explain
The family unit isnt about money dude
yeah, it kind of is in this country. For the record, I spent a year working from home to support my children and my wife's career which benefited all of us. I still periodically work from home. But, no, our social status and the livelihood of our family unit is intimately linked to our income level. Americans organize ourselves differently than you might expect (that's not a value judgement but a statement of reality - we're at the top of the hill and we're not going to give it up).
my mother was a stay-at-home mother, and she still sent me and my siblings to daycare. She wanted a break from her kids, and sat at home relaxing
very common
very rare, just because no way an average man could earn that much to support the family, since rent usually takes more than 70% of one person's wage
Know only one. Married a rich guy and plays vidya whole day, doing significantly less household duties and having significantly worse relationship with kids than normal women.
Never understood this kind of meme.
That's what extended family networks are for. The "atomic family" is as much of a cancerous breakdown and of societal relations as the single parent.
I can't respect or be with someone who doesn't work in a relationship. Plus, stay at home parents in Canada tend to be severely mental if they are under 40.
You can always tell this fake images from the 50s are staged because the women are always too perfect and manicured. Nobody would dress up that way to perform housework.
>His country's family situation is so fucked he assumes its a single mother
God damn I hate the present
Don't be surprised if you end up dying childless. All those working women will need a Filipino nanny just to take care of your dog.
>My wife actually makes more than i do
She's already cucked you.
>it's and economic decision
The epitaph of a dying civilisation.
3 paragraphs to say youre a stay at home dad and americans love money
>92534487
>baiting this hard
It's the norm here.
Non-traditional "mothers" are very frowned upon here.
For the underclass and the upper middle class and above.
Kinda rare, except in very wealthy households.
Moms only working 20-30 hours a week is common though.
Rather common where I live
>For the underclass and the upper middle class and above.
that sounds odd.
Also, what's the distinction between middle class and upper middle class?
Very common, but less common the closer you get to the middle-class (i.e. very common for poorfags and the very wealthy, less common for people of median wealth)
Where I live in America it's whether or not you've got a boat or your kids have cars
These unironically
Still common.
im guessing the wife doesnt have enough maketable skills at the lower class and the upper middle one can afford it without having to live in sub-par conditions
I don't know, never left my room
I am a man. Women don't have a complex about dating working men, I just won't have a "kept" woman as a wife.
Why not just marry a man then?
