>invested in a trip to Thailand
That woman looks Filipino.

This site is actually run by a hateful person.
At first it looks like the comments were posted by the people in the pictures, but actually the admin adds these comments to pictures of people who are unaware that he does so.

of course the one time having migrants in your own country is beneficial to white men, it must be bad (in contrast to all other instances)

Idk in day to day life I dont notice at all but online I think a lot of millennial are buttmad at the Boomers because they believe boomers had a better life than them.
This is 99% bullshit afaik. For Boomers unless you were a white male you had lesser rights abd no respect, no internet, no smartphones, HIV epidemic in the 80s, got drafted into Vietnam war to be killed off like animals, I am much happier in 2018 than I would be in 1968. We are more technologically connected than ever, more cheap/free entertainment, zero risk of going to war unless you sign up, more rights for women and minorities and LGBTQ+. Life is better in almost every way than it has ever been. But there will always be bitter losers upset that "Boomers had it better". Yeah right.

I will go one step further. The poorest of the poor in 2018 live better than the richest of the rich in 1918. More freedom, internet, less disease (thanks to vaccines and modern medicine), phones with the internet, cheap and delicious food from around the world, fun and plentiful entertainment around the world (get it on the internet), widespread education ("muh student loans"--education pays for itself)! Being a millennial is awesome. Imagine how much more awesome it will be in 2118

My mom was saying one of her friends was complaing the other day that the government doesnt give her free money for being old. She wants 2000 canuck bucks a month for simply being 65. My mom thinks shes a retard but theyre life long friends. Thats the most boomer thing ive heard in a while.

Millennial believe in free money too.

it's a matter of preferences.

some people prefer being able to afford a home and start a family over cheap entertainment and having foreigners get a free ride

Doesn't everyone legally have to contribute to an old-age pension if they work full time?

>The poorest of the poor in 2018 live better than the richest of the rich in 1918.
>this is what Americans ACTUALLY believe

Jesus fucking christ do you retards even have history class?

CPP is funded through contributions, OAS isnt. She didnt want more from CPP, she wants literal free money because shes old.

no, to qualify for OAS you only need to live in Canada for period of time, the payment is dependent on how long you've lived in Canada.

That page never fails to make me laugh

Our boomers were born in the 80's and early 90's.

oh, cool

>More freedom, internet, less disease (thanks to vaccines and modern medicine), phones with the internet, cheap and delicious food from around the world, fun and plentiful entertainment around the world (get it on the internet), widespread education ("muh student loans"--education pays for itself)!

Do you deny any of this is present today? Do you claim any of it was present in 1918 regardless if you were rich?

>implying
We're not even going to get to enjoy Social Security, which will be insolvent or cut back drastically. Don't talk to us about being a 'gib generation', we get less than the boomers did, while everything is exponentially more expensive.

>b-but free healthcare
>b-but free public college tuition
Liberals see that as an investment rather than a handout, like having free roads or police. It's not just giving someone cash for being an old fuck. You can agree or disagree with it being a good policy, but it doesn't count as gibs, unless you're an AnCap who thinks public roads are gibs and taxation is theft.

TL;DR cash is free money, free or reduced services isn't

Technology is the only argument you have in your favor, and being the richest of the rich in 1918 made you much happier than the poor today. Increased life expectancy and consumer culture does not negate the horrible lifelong stress of being destitute. It does not translate to happiness

>I may be hungry and barely staving off eviction, but I sure am grateful I got vaccinated for whooping couch when I was little!
said no one ever

You still WANT free money though, everyone WANTS free money. Boomers and Millennials alike.

>Liberals see that as an investment rather than a handout,
?? I am a liberal, I don't believe in free public college (maybe community college). You are right that college is an investment. College degree holders earn more money and therefore can pay it back more easily. I paid off mine in 4 years by living frugally (with a roommate in a shit area of the city) and also by getting hit by a car and getting a settlement (that helped but even without it I would have paid it off in another 2 years). My student loans paid for themselves (also got hit by a car).

The ones who demand that other people pay their loans for them are the ones who don't see it as an investment after all, but as a burden. Woops.

>free healthcare
Would mostly go to old people.

>more freedom
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

>Internet
Sick dude now nobody goes outside or talks to their neighbours.

>cheap and delicious food
Aah yes more corn syrup and American """""cheese""""" for me master schlomo!

>more entertainment and education
Had that made people happier though?

You realise that in the 20s rich people had mansions with like 100 domestic servants in them right? Nobody has that many servants anymore. They also had few labour laws to follow allowing them to rule like tyrants.

"Happiness" is a myth and will always be fleeting. There's no such thing as constant happiness or constant unhappiness.

>muh stress!!
Yeah because rich people in 1918 didn't feel stress! WWI and Polio were small peanuts compared to your student loan bills and when the internet goes down. Come on.

>I may be hungry
USA has one of the best rates of food security in the world, food security is at an all time high, You can get food for cheap from all around the world, and in much better conditions than previous years

>barely staving off eviction
Good thing with our increased lifespans, multigenerational living is more feasible than ever. Lots of millennials simply move in with mom and dad. No shame in that. In 1918 mom and dad probably died in childbirth (even if you were rich)

> vaccinated for whooping couch when I was little!
Well I am. I live better than Marie fucking Antoinette, considered a pure caricature of wealth in the 18th century. She lives like garbage compared to me. But hey if you want to go back in time be my guest.

It's a good message though.

Zoomers blow away their money on mindless consumerism, expensive rent (no way you can survive without living in the centre of the city centre) and takeaways or restaurant food.

>mansions with like 100 domestic servants in them
We don't need 100 domestic servants. Now even the poorest of the poor enjoys what 100 domestic servants used to provide. I live in a shit tier apartment I have access to fridge, easy meals, microwave, washing machine and dryer (for the low low price of pocket change), yes even a washing machine, fans to keep me cool, hot and cold running water, heating, fabric softener, etc etc TECHNOLOGY BITCH!

We don't NEED domestic servants because technology has made our lives easy street. Take a few hours a day or just use the weekend to do your chores.

> few labour laws to follow allowing them to rule like tyrants.
Ruling like a tyrant does not appeal to me in the slightest. If I could "rule like a tyrant" my life would not be better one iota. My life is much better now that I don't have to worry about tyrants, just a bunch of meme clowns like Trump. Those tyrants were awful to each other in 1918.

>Sick dude now nobody goes outside or talks to their neighbours.
Good socialization is overrated. As an introvert I can only imagine how hellish pre-internet days were.

>HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yeah try being a rich lesbian of color in 1918. Things aren't perfect in 2018 but the poorest of the poor still have more civil rights than the wealthy people in 1918 who weren't hetero white guys. (Let alone the poor people of 1918 holy shit can you imagine?)

>Aah yes more corn syrup and American """""cheese""""" for me master schlomo!
Totally optional. Go buy a bag of flour, make some delicious bread. Buy some rice. Buy some frozen veggies. Bad year? Well we can just import it from somewhere else.

>Had that made people happier though?
Makes me happier. but if you disagree, feel free to turn off your computer.

unironically kill yourself

>no way you can survive without living in the centre of the city centre
by living in the city center you don't need to spend money on a car, which is actually much more expensive combined with a cheap flat in the outskirts

I prefer to stay alive and to shit on Canada

Attached: canada.png (874x749, 49K)

I live in the Chicago suburbs I don't need a car. Are European cities really so shit? I thought the stereotype went the other way around?

the fuck are you trying to say or do? are you real

>How are Boomers seen in your country, do they do stuff like this?
he is actually right in every word he says

>>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita

2000 a year to not get trucked by refugee's. i'd pay that.

It depends on the city and your situation. At the moment I have to go to work in a village 20 km from where I live. I can get there by taking a train each day for 20 minutes and going another 10 minutes by bike.
Everyone else goes there by car. I think it's fair to say that one needs a car in this situation.

On the other hand, if I imagine someone having to go the other way and working in the cite center where I live, to me it's fair to say this peron also needs a car.

The ideal situation is working and lviing in the city center so you can just walk or take a bus for 5 minutes.

Just take the bicycle or bus, what kind of special snowflake are you.

>tfw you realise that 30 year old boomers are a thing in estonia

and I am willing to take the bargain :^)
better to stay in your safe space if you're not only bothered by asian females but also afraid of muslims

Shut up chang

back in elementary school i was friends with 2 half thai kids and their dad was a boomer

>people unironically defending baby boomers
what is actually wrong with you? Why do you have to be such an insufferable contrarian?

Attached: 1531953806191.jpg (451x604, 65K)

jesus fucking christ, boomers are fucking trash.

this.

NIMBY and suburbia alone are reasons enough to fucking hate boomer trash.

Suburbia was largely built up by the post-WWII generation who had been raised in city slums.

desu, when I say boomer I mean all old people. though fair enough.still hate boomer scum.

are you fucking retarded?

I hate all people equally, I don't hate boomers any more than I do my own generation.
