Still, you didnt reply to me

>>Vietnam
>Still, you didnt reply to me
why they hated civilization? They didn't, Germanics took over many Roman advancements
they just didn't like being conquered and oppressed by the Romans

What can I say, I have ultra instinct when it comes to spotting them

I don't recall the germanic or slavic world really having the infrastructure, roads, bridge, schools, economy, technology of the Roman empire.

Germanic world started to civilize in the middle ages after the fall of Rome iirc, and it still wasn't as civilized as Rome in its apex.

>opressed
worst case scenario is that germany got romanized and latinized. After few decades, you would be as roman as everyone else.

>and it still wasn't as civilized as Rome in its apex.
you'd have to define civilized here, due to the fact that there was no large unified empire anymore it was ofc harder, but technology had already advanced beyond Roman levels during the high middle ages
the dark ages are sometimes overstated or misunderstood

>worst case scenario is that germany got romanized and latinized. After few decades, you would be as roman as everyone else.
you might be right, but still, I think we can understand why the Germanic tribes didn't exactly like being conquered at the time. They fought back, happened to win, and the rest is history.

>Vietnam
I think you ignored his let it begin comment. Though most of the battles were clear U S. victories with K/D ratios often around 10:1 and seized weapons.

I know about both of those renaissances, I'm speaking of ancient history, it's just sad that the Germanic world lost basically 500 to 1000 years before reaching a proper civilization.

> high middle ages
there were many aspects in wich Roman were better than medieval europe. There is a reason why Rome had 1 million people, was a 50 million people empire, had many cities with +500,000 people, while the capital of the strongest and biggest medieval Europe empire of Charlemagne had... 30,000 peoples..

>the dark ages are sometimes overstated or misunderstood
Yeah, the only thing worst than the "dark ages" belivers are the medieval apolgists and revisionnists. The collapse of the roman empire had a massive negative empire for few centuries. It can be mesured in the gdp per capita, demography of the cities (rome going from 1m to 50,000...), the trade etc.

>and the rest is history.
the rest is germanic tribes ruining europe and the whole mediteranean world for few centuries of barbarian invasions and kingdoms.
They could have at least stayed in their containment zone.

I think you meant *of* rather than *in* your country. Though in the case of Korea it probably amounts to the same.

Anyway, top 3 *in* Spain

#1. Battle of Guadalete. Grug's forces are defeated by Advance Islamic Civilization forces. Spain flourishes while Yurop stays gruggish for centuries trying to discover the fork.
#2. Battle of Toro. The Portuguese Empire is thwarted while the Spanish Empire happens.
#3. Battle of Bailen. Marks the beggining of the end for Napo and his I French Empire.

wrong

Based Chamberlain at Little Roundtop though.

>there were many aspects in wich Roman were better than medieval europe.
I didn't deny this, however the middle ages span over a century. Rome wasn't more advanced than Europe after 1200, the number of inhabitants of a city doesn't disprove this
>There is a reason why Rome had 1 million people, was a 50 million people empire, had many cities with +500,000 people, while the capital of the strongest and biggest medieval Europe empire of Charlemagne had... 30,000 peoples..
yes, Rome was relatively speaking more powerful than all medieval European states, which is why they could conquer the entire mediterranean and more. No other state was powerful enough to conquer all others during the middle ages. This is no indication on actual advancement however
>Yeah, the only thing worst than the "dark ages" belivers are the medieval apolgists and revisionnists. The collapse of the roman empire had a massive negative empire for few centuries. correct, yet you're lumping the entirety of the middle ages together with the "dark ages" (early middle ages), which is inaccurate
>the rest is germanic tribes ruining europe and the whole mediteranean world for few centuries of barbarian invasions and kingdoms.
>They could have at least stayed in their containment zone.
lol, now it's getting ridiculous
the Western Roman empire was already plagued by civil war, and Rome was also weakened by decade long wars with Persia. Plus speaking about containment zones, it was Rome that invaded other countries in the first place...
Also, as I already showed you, it was also Germanic kingdoms that revived the legacy of the Roman empire in the following centuries
what about Cartagena de Indias?

That's not *in* Spain

A good equivalent would be battle of La Coruña, btfo the english counter-armada.

Honorary mentions:
Battle of Munda: Julius Caesar decissively defeats Pompey and becomes, well, CESAR.
Battle of Tordesillas: Assburger consolidated
Battle of Almansa: Assburger removed

Germanic kingdoms didn't revive shit, they were feasting on Rome's caracass like fucking animals.

considering your flag it's no surprise you're asshurt for no reason but we are talking about historical facts here
